JUST IN: NBC reports that Trump's defense team is "newly animated" and have "cracked" a smile while the District Attorney's team looks "tense and apprehensive" in New York.
The moment came as the jury submitted a second note to Judge Merchan, asking him to give the instructions again.
"The District Attorney’s team looks tense and apprehensive. Todd Blanche, on Trump’s defense team, just cracked a tight smile. Trump, Blanche and Emil Bove, another one of Trump's attorneys, are whispering amongst themselves and look newly animated," NBC reported.
Jurors were then dismissed for the day after a few hours of deliberations.
"You must not google or otherwise search for information about the case," Merchan said.
Deliberations will continue tomorrow at 9:30.
Hopefully they at least have the sense to realize that if somebody asks you to choose between 3 crimes that they have not even described or explained to you, there’s no way you can convict a guy for those crimes. You don’t even know what they are or aren’t. There’s no way you can convict somebody for something you know nothing about.
Throwing that crap in when they knew the defense would have no chance to explain it or clarify what constitutes or doesn’t constitute that crime is a deliberate move to undo the whole concept of cross-examination. It is deliberate turd-worldism, and if the jury is feeling confused then they should ask themselves why. They are confused because the prosecution deliberately threw in muddy content that they knew the defense couldn’t clarify.
And that is just not acceptable. The jury needs to send it back to the prosecutors with a KMA note.

Regardless of the outcome turning out one way or the other, the storyline of this trial was planned, well-choreographed, and now being played out for the MSM and our "consumption" for a cause - expose the DSC and here, the corrupt just-us system.
This is why I have zero worries about the zings and zangs of this court. I don't control it, and IMHO, neither does the judge, prosecution, defense nor the jurors. All Scripted.
Aren’t there a couple of lawyers in the mix too? You would think they too are shocked at this corrupt Colombian immigrant judge and his crapping on the constitution and the law of order!
What they do know though....is how to read and comprehend.
After reading the Cohen Pecker meet, I believe that is sufficient to acquit.

Why would Trumps lawyers allow a rigged jury when they were given as many challenges as the prosecution? Or are his lawyers part of the jury rigging?

Outside of the standard boiler plate things like lunch will be provided, deliberations will end at X time unless everyone agrees to work later, dinner may be provided if needed, etc. Let the bailiff know if you need more water. If you have any questions, write it on a piece of paper and summon the bailiff to bring it to the court, etc. many parts of the rest of it would require even a lawyer to read multiple times to understand.
I read one page multiple times and still couldn’t fully understand it, there’s no way you could understand those instructions, all 55 pages, from memory while deliberating..

Exactly. I’ve met a few attorneys, and they are always very analytical and very keen on reading, reviewing in analyzing things and looking for the smallest possible details that they can use to help their case. I haven’t followed the trial that closely, but have read the gist of what some of that testimony was in the fact that that was requested is very telling that there is probably some doubts.
As you said, however, it is New York City, so who knows.
I am the first to admit I haven’t followed the trial very closely. However, from reports I’ve read that, along with them requesting a reread of the jury instructions seems to make Trump’s defense team, hopeful.

One is a corporate and the other appears to be an everyday local civil attorney...Neither is criminal...and they're likely out of their comfort zone.
Even if they’re civil or corporate attorneys they’ve been to law school and they’ve usually been in a courtroom. So don’t sell the two short.
