Robert F. Kennedy Jr. targeted Donald Trump over his administration’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, as he spoke to Libertarians during the party convention on Friday.
Kennedy argued that the former president and his administration had violated people’s First Amendment rights when they instituted health guidelines to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
“I think he had the right instinct when he came into office. He was initially very reluctant to impose lockdowns, but then he got rolled by his bureaucrats. He caved in, and many of our most fundamental rights disappeared practically overnight,” Kennedy said at the Libertarian National Convention in Washington.
“President Trump allowed his health regulators to mandate science-free social distancing, which undermined our First Amendment rights to freedom of assembly. We could no longer peacefully gather,” he said later.
Kennedy’s comments marked one of the most pointed set of remarks against Trump yet. Though Kennedy is widely seen as a long-shot contender between Trump and President Biden, recent polling has suggested he could be a spoiler for Trump in November.
Kennedy used much of his speech accusing Trump and Biden of infringing on Americans’ rights and constitution freedoms, saying he would do more to protect people’s rights to free speech and right to assemble.
Both Kennedy and Trump are slated to speak at the convention, with the former president delivering remarks on Saturday.

God bless you.
To be in the battle alongside people like you here is a boost to morale.
We have to fight to the end, praying without ceasing as we do.
...and what?
Talk about leaving us hanging!
That piece of text was hiding from me. Civil war, mass violence, etc.
With all due respect, you’ve just spouted a snootful of nonsense.
Far from saving anyone, many who crossed the thresholds of ERs were killed pursuant to medical protocols.
Many others were brutally killed via gene therapy injections.
Sanguine much?
The Federal government illegally closed several national parks.

What do you think people are going to do when en masse they figure out what was done to us?
In my opinion you are delusional on this subject. The covid vaccine was and remains a worldwide health disaster. The best covid outcome was in places that didn’t use it much, such as India and sub-Saharan Africa, where Ivermectin was widely used. Trump is much better than a Rat, but on covid he earned a D- grade.
2. Please cite the provision in the U.S. Constitution that establishes your right to (A) have national parks, and (B) enter them at your discretion.
Absolutely. 🙂👍
Personally, I think that we need to find the deep staters who were pulling the strings and execute them. That’s what we should do. This was a deep state operation designed to be a catch 22 for President Trump and punish the nation. Let’s go after those that are truly responsible.
I’m sorry for your loss. IF the vaccine had been on the up and up, the speed with which Trump got things going would have been hailed. Now that everyone pretty much knows it’s practically poison, they want to turn it against him.v
They were willingly “led” to do so by the federal CDC.
Do you remember two weeks to “stop the spread”?
What...did the governors come up with that and spoon feed it to the CDC?
Did they also ask the CDC to invent “social [antisocial] distancing” and dump it midweek on the populace?
“it brought the pandemic to an end”
The vaccine? First I have heard of it. I thought by the time the WuFlu was waning it had been pretty much admitted that the vaccine did not keep you from acquiring the WuFlu and did not keep you from spreading it. Natural immunity after enough people contracted it probably played a bigger role in winding down the plandemic. And then there are all the reports of the harm done from the vaccine (and the accompanying lawsuits).

He still boasts about his marvelous "warp-speed" vaccine that I think killed my brother. Trump is not perfect, but he's the best we have under the circumstances.President Trump knew the lockdowns were supposed to be permanent and voting from home or by mail meant the election would be stolen. He had to set the country free from the lockdown tyranny, so he expedited the vax. When he talks about expediting the vax, he's talking to the rest of America who still believes that Covid was the killer the CDC claimed it was, and that the vax saved them.
Trump tried to warn about the fake pandemic but they outnumbered him with their Censorship-Industrial Complex. They told the public he was dangerously detatched from reality and that the country was dying and he didn't care. So he had to give ground in some respects, set us free and trust us to choose for ourselves and to resist. He was never pro vax mandate or pro lockdown. Here's some of CNN's wall-of-lies that Trump, and anyone else warning the public, were up against.

When President Trump tried to warn the public that, "the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, doctors, media and the Democrats are lying about the country’s pandemic – the world’s worst – in order to crush the economy on which he is relying for reelection," the treasonous media framed him as uncaring and focused on lying' while the pandemic overwhelmed the nation.
The quote in itallics is from the CNN article which I will excerpt below. Here they blame a 'growing disaster' on Trump for opening states too early.
White House turns on Fauci as disaster grows out of aggressive state openings
Instead of focusing on the out-of-control coronavirus disaster in Florida and other early opening states, the White House is trying to destroy the reputation of one of America’s most respected public servants, Dr. Anthony Fauci, for telling the truth about how bad things are getting.
President Donald Trump is meanwhile highlighting claims that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, doctors, media and the Democrats are lying about the country’s pandemic – the world’s worst – in order to crush the economy on which he is relying for reelection.
The new campaign of deception is accelerating a day after Florida recorded the highest-ever single daily caseload of new infections for any US state and as the daily total of confirmed cases nationwide hits a staggering 60,000.
~~~end of excerpt~~~
Fauci was the highest paid person in government at that time, and the majority of his duties pertained to biowarfare. Therefore he was deemed by the collaborating MSM as more 'trustworthy' than Trump. The MSM/Social Media etc., what has since been exposed as the Censorship-Industrial Complex, worked together to panic the public into ignoring Trump's reality check.
NOW the truth has come out that deaths were relatively flat during 2020 and dramatically increased AFTER the 'vaccine' was released in 2021.
CNN —EXCERPT BEGINS~~~Under federal law, Trump doesn’t have the power to directly fire Fauci, a career civil servant, and remove him from government. And while Trump could try ordering his political appointees to dismiss the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci could appeal – a time-consuming process.
The President does, however, have the power to sideline Fauci, keeping him away from press briefings and media interviews – as has happened in recent weeks, though Fauci has proven adept at pushing his message through different channels.
CNN spoke with Max Stier, president and CEO of Partnership for Public Service, about the history of the federal government’s protections for civil servants and what might happen if Trump tried to go ahead with such a move. The conversation, conducted over the phone and lightly edited for flow, is below.
EXCERPT ENDS~~~~
I can't wait to have President Trump back in office - he won't force vaxxes and lockdowns! The Censorship-Industrial has since been exposed. Social media giant Twitter users will be able to help warn each other. Trump will pull us out of the fascist WHO Plandemic treaty.
You forgot the part where the malefactors are tried in a court of law. Otherwise, This Guy is a +1, seconding that emotion.
Yeah New Jersey went full retard it’s true.
Gee, do you really think states, counties and corporations were going to go against the “guidance” of the likes of CDC and NIH early in the scamdemic? Get real.
Then you had Trump pleading for everyone to isolate to “flatten the curve” and twisting the arms of some Governors that were reluctent to prolong the lockdown of their states. Then at warp speed he went from pushing lockdowns to hawking “three vaccines all are very, very good”, “beautiful vaccines”, ”one of the greatest achievements of mankind”, which continued even after he was out of office. RFK, Jr is a leftard, but he’s not wrong about Trump and the jabs.
