MAGA Donald Trump supporters have rallied behind the former president after he released FBI paperwork, connected to its search of his Mar-a-Lago residence, showing agents were permitted to use "deadly force."
On Tuesday, Trump shared on his social media platform Truth Social the information revealed by an unsealed search warrant in his classified documents case which said that federal agents were prepared to use "deadly force" when executing the raid of his Florida resort.
After the news broke, former Trump strategist Steve Bannon and Trump ally Mike Davis discussed what they called an "assassination" plot by the bureau.
A post on X, formerly Twitter, by user @TRHLofficial, on May 22, 2024, stated: "Steve Bannon and Mike Davis detail the assassination attempt of Donald Trump. 'If we tolerate this, we tolerate the end of this republic.'".....
Trump's post inflamed his supporters and his allies in the Republican Party, who repeated the assassination claims.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Trump loyalist known for her previous support for several QAnon conspiracy theories, immediately escalated the former president's accusations and wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that "the Biden DOJ and FBI were planning to assassinate Pres. Trump and gave the green light."
False.
There was no "assassination attempt" on Donald Trump by the FBI. The use of "deadly force" as contained in now unsealed search warrant documents is boiler-plate procedural text used by the bureau.

“...is boiler-plate procedural text used by the bureau.”
As noted earlier here - then WHY did the FBI keep this detail regarding the raid HIDDEN FOR 2 YEARS?
Apparently yes. They were probably hoping Trump’s Secret Service would pull a gun or try physically removing the FBI from Trump’s presence. The hint that this may be the plan would have been if those FBI agents acted overly aggressive/ confrontational from the very start.
This article starts with a stone cold lie. President Trump didn't release the FBI paperwork. The court did. The judge in the Florida case unsealed the FBI records and independent journalist Julie Kelly was the first to make them public.
Boiler plate my ass. They were looking for the slightest excuse. That they showed up with -rifles- to the President’s home says it all.
They better recognize. Something like F-Troop shooting Trump to death and pretending it’s just law enforcement as usual? They seem to have no sense that they really can go to far. That kind of hubris leads nowhere good.
It is time for Judge Cannon to recognize that Trump is in physical danger from the DOJ and Federal agents and put him under the protection of the Federal Courts until after the election, and suspend all present State and Federal trials of Trump.
This was in no way standard procedure. In law enforcement, what can wait to be enforced waits. You only rush in if there is no way to protect the evidence or lives are at stake.
That doesn’t mean they were intending to assassinate Trump, but they were not excluding it as a possibility.
Oh, it’s boilerplate for a raid. So sure, they will kill you or I if we look at them funny and nobody will say boo about it. But a former President is not a run of the mill raid, it’s unprecedented and logic dictates that deadly force would absolutely not be needed to go collect paperwork from him. Unless they hoped to use it.
bttt
This is obama’s FBI. Third world east African thug dictator tactics.
They certainly have priors, like Ruby Ridge, Waco, and other incidents.
Yeah. Newsweek is a regular critic of the Biden brigades. They know what they did.
If she actually has that authority....... DO IT.
Pray for Trump’s safety... please.
I live by one rule, and one rule only: Never believe anything until newsweak denies it.
If they wanted him dead, he’d be dead by now.
Different power centers want different things.
It's an ongoing debate within and between different agencies.
I'm sure there are some who want him dead.
If something labeled “fact check” is denying it, its a good bet its true.
The confirmation that NIH funded gain-of-function research in China sure has disappeared from sight. Talk about a one-day story.
