Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Wednesday appeared to back allowing Ukraine to use American-provided weapons to strike Russia or Russian-controlled territory.
One reporter asked Johnson about a House Intelligence Committee letter calling on the Biden administration to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with American-supplied weapons.
The letter stipulates that this would allow Ukraine to strike “Russian-controlled territory” as well as Russian territory and represents a significant escalation in America’s seemingly endless proxy war against Russia.

But of course now you are going to spew deepState/vampiressVicky/CIA/MI6/OsamaBidementia bullSchiff
Not me. I leave that kind of stupidity to people like you.
But, Putin did think that Ukraine was going to be simple takeover target, since it wasn't in the same category of military power as Russia. Plus, with a weakened U.S. and a weak president,Putin thought that the U.S. would not be an obstacle for the invasion. That was simple-thinking by Putin ,and it's the same kind of thinking coming out of you.
Remember...
Keep silent and let people think you a fool, or open your mouth and remove all doubt. IOW, keep your simple-minded thinking to yourself.

Your posts are worse than foolish. They’re nitwitic. If Ukraine starts hitting targets inside Russia in a major way, Russia will retaliate ten times over. Ukraine won’t just have some territory taken. Ukraine will be destroyed.

“I agree. After two years of Russian men pointlessly dying in Ukraine then the next step to disabuse the Russians of their imperial ambitions is to let them have a taste of their own medicine.”
Stop it. Destroying Russia and killing Russians is what you’re after. You don’t want to just stop them. You want them all dead.

Why not give Zelenskyy a few nukes? Low yield ones, only and rockets to carry them to Moscow. That should win the war for Ukraine. One bomb and Russia would surrender and withdraw all troops out of Ukraine. Victory! Ukraine could Join EU and NATO, and become the 51st State of the Union! Russia crushed would learn to obey her masters. Permit Gay marriage, get rid of Putin and break ties with China. The would would be so much better if Moscow was a big hole in the ground.
To: adorno
Read carefully. I did not say that Russia would obliterate Ukraine. This war is already lost, which you would know if you looked at more than MSM. Ukraine is running out of men. If they escalate by attacking major targets inside Russia, Putin will be sending glide bombs into Kiev, Kharkiv in large numbers. The idea that Putin wants to reconstruct the old Soviet Union or attack Western Europe is a big lie that’s being used to justify insane aggression toward Russia. The only wise solution is to end this war now by offering Putin what he wants - a neutral Ukraine. He would have accepted this two years ago and there would have been no war. Now, he will accept a peace deal but will annex the Donbas.

Ukraine is already being destroyed. Have you been sleeping or hiding under a rock?
The FACT is that, when being attacked by a foreign invader, the country being attacked has the right to strike back, no matter what it takes. The rules of war are not about one-sided surrender, or one-sided fighting. That’s simple common sense. Surrendering is what Putin counted on from Ukraine, and now that Ukraine has resisted and fought so hard, Putin is threatening to cause even more damage. Putin/Russia have lost hundreds of thousands in deaths and wounded. Putin is still going because, he can’t be seen giving up the fight and looking weak, so, threats of bigger bombs and bigger destruction is all he can do now, and people like you are wanting Ukraine to surrender and let Putin have his way. That’s cowardly and idiotic, and would only embolden Putin to go for more, and he would. Weakness breeds more aggression. That’s a lesson which far too many people refuse to learn. Not learning from the lessons of history is what real NITWITS do. Recognize yourself?

This war is already lost
Been hearing that for more than 2 years, and the war is still on, and Russia is suffering hundreds of men dead on a weekly basis, and losing vast amounts of weaponry and losing billions in treasure. It's people like you who encourage Putin to keep up the fight, because your kind of rhetoric indicates to Putin that, we will not support Ukraine and the end is near. If it was we (the U.S.) that was directly involved in the war, you likely would have found yourself detained for encouraging the enemy in their war efforts.
Russia has lost hundreds of thousands dead and injured, along with losiing many billions in weaponry and likely over a trillion dollars in the war effort. Not something that Putin expected, but, he's being encouraged to keep up the fight after reading comments such as yours. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, but, a surrender monkey is also my friend. You are a surrender monkey, and Russia appreciates your efforts in their behalf.

Russia knows there is a big difference between the U.S. and Ukraine. Ukraine is a much smaller target, and right next to Russia. The big problem with your point of view is that one has to ignore the history of how this situation was created that took us to this point. In other words, one has to suspend disbelief to buy into the Democrat/MSM narrative.
The Ukrainian people were duped into supporting the entertainer Zelensky and to a slightly lesser amount his predecessor Petro Poroshenko. Zelensky ran largely on promises that he would keep the peace with Russia but instead immediately began adopting provocative policy and initiatives. Under his “leadership” the country went from the most corrupt country in the world to one of the most corrupt countries in history. Even George Soros bragged that he had more influence over Ukraine than any other country in the world.
Democrat and DC swamp leadership of course immediately began exploiting the corrupt government that Soros, the CIA and other Western intelligence agencies had created. Was it any surprise that they used their Ukrainian puppet, Zelensky to try and impeach President Trump?
Ukraine became a cash cow and money laundering machine for DC Swamp politicians. Various means were used to transfer tax-payer dollars to political cronies in the US and Europe for nonsense “jobs” setup for their relatives to cryptocurrency schemes such as Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX cryptocurrency exchange. And let's not forget the bio-labs and other questionable endeavors set up in Ukraine.
I don't really need to delve further into the finer details here... even those such as yourself who cheer on our continued decent toward WWIII is well aware of this entire pile of feces. What causes a bunch of peaknik leftist idiots such as AOC and the squad to become unashamed war mongers? Piles of cash and deep state political influence... enough to keep them in power for the foreseeable future.
This war has nothing to do with stopping Russian aggression and everything to do with sleight of hand to further entrench the politically correct lefty cadre of idiots who have been running the show since President Trump was cheated out of office. The fact that you and others choose to ignore the obvious displays only your gullibility and how easy it is to influence those who celebrate war and chaos as long as a flag is waived in front of it.

Russia has no interest in aggression against Europe. This narrative is complete bull**** and needs to stop. Victory for Russia in Ukraine will do nothing but bring peace to a region that is sorely in need of it.

Putin himself could not have done better in expressing his point of view about Ukraine and Putin's war. I'm pretty sure he appreciates your help and comments. Putin is looking forward for more posts like yours.

Your way of thinking fails the smell test. It STINKS!
Whatever happened in Ukraine under Zelenky or his predecessor, is not a good reason for Putin to invade. The Ukrainian people did not want Putin's invasion, and of course, neither did Zelenky.
If we're going to use excuses of wrongheaded policy as reasons that an invasion is warranted, then, the U.S. and most of Europe and many other countries around the world, would be asking to get invaded. That's such a stupid way of thinking. Zelenky and any other Ukraine president is temporarily in power, and what he says can be changed with the next president, and that's the way things work in most democracies. The reasons for war or invasions are many, but words and policies, are not excuses for allowing invasions.
If I was your neighbor and called you an effing idiot, would that be a reason for you to set my house on fire? Diplomacy does not mean that, words or policy changes can be used for starting wars or for invading. Whatever Zelenky said or did, is not reason enough for Putin to try to take over Ukraine.
Mexico is allowing our border to be invaded with people from all over the world... so, should the U.S. invade Mexico to try to take over that country? We have much bigger reasons to invade Mexico than Russia had for invading Ukraine.
What did Zelenky do to Russia in 2014 before Putin decided to invade and take over Crimea? What about the takeover in Georgia?
FACT is that, Putin has always stated that he wanted to reconstitute the Russian empire, or the USSR. What prompted him to say that, other than his stated ambition to restore the old USSR?
An aggressor country does not need an excuse to try to achieve its goals, and Putin/Russia will use the slightest of hints to go after its neighbors. As we speak, there are other countries worried about what Russia will do after the invasion of Ukraine is successor. What did those other countries do to Russia to be fearful of Russia taking them on next?
And, Putin's aggressive nature has been known for decades, and has nothing to do with Trump or Biden or anybody else being U.S. president. And whatever Zelenky said or did, was not affecting Russia, and Putin wanted the slightest of excuses to validate his invasion.
So, stop being so blind, and stop trying to rationalize Putin;s invasion. Only Putin would find your posts satisfying.
