Ukraine is already being destroyed. Have you been sleeping or hiding under a rock?
The FACT is that, when being attacked by a foreign invader, the country being attacked has the right to strike back, no matter what it takes. The rules of war are not about one-sided surrender, or one-sided fighting. That’s simple common sense. Surrendering is what Putin counted on from Ukraine, and now that Ukraine has resisted and fought so hard, Putin is threatening to cause even more damage. Putin/Russia have lost hundreds of thousands in deaths and wounded. Putin is still going because, he can’t be seen giving up the fight and looking weak, so, threats of bigger bombs and bigger destruction is all he can do now, and people like you are wanting Ukraine to surrender and let Putin have his way. That’s cowardly and idiotic, and would only embolden Putin to go for more, and he would. Weakness breeds more aggression. That’s a lesson which far too many people refuse to learn. Not learning from the lessons of history is what real NITWITS do. Recognize yourself?
You’re one of the biggest imbecilic gasbags to have ever posted on FR. You can’t see beyond false analogies. Your reasoning (and it’s a stretch to even call it reasoning) is rooted in misapprehension and misconception. Ukraine is not being destroyed...yet. It’s being damaged. If what you’re promoting happens, there will be so little left of Ukraine that what remains of it might as well be absorbed by the surrounding countries.
I need to stay off of these Russia/Ukraine threads. I tend to do my own sort of escalation. I apologize for being a bit harsh. That seems to be how these threads go with a lot of people and not just me doing it.
I know I lack the influence to affect U.S. policy and am guessing you probably do, too. Just have to wait and see how the war plays out. Maybe there won’t be as much death and destruction as I’m expecting before this thing is over.
