Will the Circle Be Unbroken...many, many versions, and I like them all. This one is really slow, but a good sing along. Thanks!
God Bless your Mother, and you, too. ((HUGS))
The Angel Cried to the Lady Full of Grace...beautiful, lightman. Thanks. ((HUGS))
I’m not much into the Beatles, but there are some I really like, and Let It Be is one of them. Thanks!
Are you sure? I have a friend in Mississippi who got a picture of them in her town. And said that people saw them down on the coast. I’ll try to keep my hope up. It’ll probably be cloudy all weekend. LOL!
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
It looks like it was a splendid day over there yesterday. Are you enjoying nice cool temps like we are over here?
First I’ve heard about anyone seeing them on the coast. They were expected to be seen as far south as just below the TN state line last I heard. That’s why I wasn’t sure if I’d see them tonight.
Mother Nature does have a tendency to have a mind of her own. LOL
She sure does! The ONLY weekend I wouldn’t have minded having clear skies....she brings tons of clouds. Showing me a thing or two. LOL!
I’m sure glad you got to see them and got pictures, though. Did you get more than just the two you posted?
LOL! You’re having the kind of luck I normally have. I’ve missed a lot of cool events in the skies over the years due to clouds.
As I said earlier, I didn’t see them with my eyes. Just saw haze that had a faint color. Time exposure is how I got what I did with the camera.
I did get more and deleted about half of them. There wasn’t much movement so there were a lot of duplicates. The two I posted were pretty much the best. I wish I had a tripod so they’d have been clearer.
You did good to capture them. This intensity is really historic!
I could see the skies through the view finder on the phone camera.....it’s just that clouds was all I saw. I’ll look again tomorrow if it’s clear.
Now I’d better head out. See ya tomorrow! One more lovely cool day here.
All I saw was darkness until the camera took the pictures. THEN I could see the aurora. Love that little Nikon.
I wish you luck with clear skies tomorrow. Enjoy that cool day. Hope there’s no wind for a change.
Catch ya tomorrow.
It feels a little cool this morning. Still nice though.
Luvie - Ran across this artist while viewing a fashion show....though I have no idea what the words mean (french) the orchestration, sound, and her singing is unusual and distinct.
Thought some might find it interesting.

Bayonet Charge at Purple Heart Lane (Normandy, 1944 Documentary)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLN9WI2YgpM
On 10th June 1944 along this roadway between Omaha & Utah beaches outside the town of Carentan, men of the 101st Airborne Div fixed bayonets, rose from cover & charged towards waiting German Paratroopers. Under a hail of fire & in hand-to-hand combat, they gained a vital foothold in one of the key locations in the battle for Normandy. But just why was it so important? And how was it achieved?
Comments below the video:
“Great informative story. The original aerial footage and views the soldiers faced while explaining the mission was incredible. Thank you for the documentary & look forward to more content.”

"Never take a shower, it's an awful pain.
Singin' in the shower's like singin' in the rain."
Did you get some rain today???
LOL! That cartoon is always funny. Glad your computer is up and running at least for a bit.
