Thanks. I enjoy a little stormy weather if it’s just normal thunderstorms, but last night was anything but normal. I did enjoy some of the fabulous “light shows” though. LOL
Enjoy that nice rain. If you can hear it hitting the roof, that makes for some good sleepin’. :-)

I see wet pavement and a lotta raindrops at Lake Hood. Is it raining at your house or are you swallowed up in the fog that’s hiding the mountains from view?

We had a snow storm last night and by early morning EVERYTHING was white again. Then the snow melted and rain started. And in the last hour we have another ongoing snow storm. It is snowing sideways.

Just in the last hour another snow storm has arrived. And we got 3/10” of rain between the snow last night and now.
Yes, I still have power. It blipped slightly a couple of times last night but that was it. Trees are all in good shape. I was very lucky last night, though I did have hail banging on the roof for a couple of minutes and was it ever loud! The cats were scurrying all over the place, it scared them so bad.
I’ll be darned. It was just raining when I checked the LH cam a little earlier. It IS snowing like crazy now! LOL Y’all are having a whacky Spring this year.

Sounds like a nice weekend. I thought spring was here, but last evening/morning we had a pretty good snow storm. EVERYTHING was white again. Then all afternoon was MUCH NEEDED rain. And now another HEAVY snow storm. It’s starting to let up, but everything is white again.
And within the last 5 minutes it is starting to melt.
Really glad the “worst” was heavy hail. Hope you and the kitties can relax tonight and get some good rest.

I thot spring was here, but we’ve had 2 snow storms in 24 hours. Fortunately the temp is above freezing and this evening’s storm is already melting.

At least it was small hail and not some of the huge hail that fell in other areas yesterday. That’s the first time it’s hailed since moving into this house and it freaked me AND the cats out. No idea what the heck we were hearing. LOL
Nice and quiet tonight, thank goodness. The weather had the cats in a twitch all day yesterday and they’ve been relaxed today.
Hi luvie! I’m actually in central Texas and it hit 90° today. Then, we had back to back wild thunderstorms. Lots of lightning and heavy rain but thank goodness, the hail and tornadoes they’d said were a slight possibility did not occur. How about your family down the road a stretch from me? Are they doing OK with this wet spring?
How about you? Are you getting some rain there out west?
Hi Kathy! Whaaaat? Snowstorms? Sideways snow? Is this unusual for May there? Is it the real wet sort of gloppy snow or like a true winter blizzard? Stay safe!
We’ve gotten quite a bit of the stormy weather here over the last month, but so far, we’re all OK. We’re grateful that we’re finally getting some significant rain, even though it’s coming to some areas in the form of flash floods.
That’s Texas for ya. 😏
