New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) announced that the city’s Department of Corrections was prepared to imprison former President Donald Trump at Rikers Island.
Adams’ comments came a day after New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, the judge presiding over Trump’s business records trial, threatened to jail the former president after finding him in contempt for violating a gag order for the tenth time.

I’d say the “Biden” administration is not what it seems.
IF it happens, here’s how I predict it would go down.
A) The Colombian Wetback will find President Trump in contempt and order him to Riker island
B) President Trump will turn himself in as ordered, accompanied by his armed Secret Service detail. SS will demand to remain armed, and demand to be accomodated within sight of President Trump at all times.
C)1) The jail gatekeepers try to refuse admission to SS. At this, Trump and SS will leave the premises, essentially daring the NYC police to “take him” against the protection of SS. NYC police will back down.
C)2) The jail gatekeepers agree to accomodate SS together with President Trump. President Trump will begin serving his term. He’ll get along famously with whatever prison personalities he encounters. Some will switch their votes to Trump.
In parallel with that drama, Trump’s legal team will be preparing and filing an emergency certariori writ to the Supremes. I think Alito handles the ones from DC. (This is not that uncommon; it’s a frequent last move of an accused about to be executed.) Belay that... the legal team already HAS prepared emergency certariori filing, they’ll just file it post haste. USSC will agree to hear it immediately. Beyotch cur dog Merchan will be definitively slapped down within hours. It’ll be a thing of beauty to watch, like when the Supremes slapped down the Florida SC back in 2000 (Bush vs Gore).
But see, the wetback cur Merchan KNOWS ALL THIS. And he KNOWS he’ll never be able to actually jail a presidential nominee in an election year without incuring the holy wrath of the RIGHTEOUS legal system as opposed to his Manhattan vipers’ den. So I don’t think the effete foreigner will actually ever send President Trump to Riker. It’s just another petty threatening abusive move by a teeny-weenie judge.
