There is a tendency amongst dispensationalists to paint everything like that
The reality is more complicated than simple anti semitism
There was heightened suspicions of all foreigners then in war time
And I’m not convinced of any case that republicans were less anti demotic than democrats
The Jews already here and in great numbers recently were democrats by a huge margin like today and arguably more so even
And FDR had Jews close to him
Henry Morgantheau in particular as attorney general wielded immense power in wartime mode
Of course Israel was not an issue
Honestly Israel has only become an issue past few months
In a manner which has surprised me honestly
The politics of letting in so many Muslims as we have and viewing Israel as a white nation oppressing brown people is very very fresh

The most inflammatory part of this text (regarding a "maiden aged three years and a day") was dropped from the Rodkinson translation of the Talmud.
Perhaps rightly so, as no contemporary or current Jewish community appears to follow these practices for arranged marriages.
The Talmud is not "sacred scripture". It is a running commentary on 2500 years of Jewish laws and customs with many contradictory and incompatible assertions by the scholars who wrote it. There is some pretty ugly stuff in there which is unacceptable to current moral perspectives.
The best one can say is that much of the detailed civil and criminal codes prescribed in the Talmud are no longer practiced or relevant. And most Jews are blessedly unaware of them.

Yes, they take land every time they are attacked and win. The don’t seem to aggressively attack the neighboring nations. This ,to me ,is historically accurate on a large scale, yet the building of settlements has been a problem and should be stopped. Israel would be a tiny, tiny, country of little land and resources if its neighbors would have never attacked it. Their claim on the land rests upon the willingness of people to attack them out of bigotry, and their willingness to take the land as spoils. No bigotry, and the nation of Israel is a very small place.

With the amount of nuke power that Israel has, they could make the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse gallop into the Milky-way.
No serious country wants to meet the Israelis in a battle with nukes.
