Lauren Boebert: ‘It Makes No Difference’ if Mike Johnson or Hakeem Jeffries Is Speaker
Breitbart ^ | 30 Apr 2024 | PAM KEY

Posted on 04/30/2024 8:12:16 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that there is no difference if House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) or Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has the top spot.

Host Jake Tapper said, “House Democratic leaders took an unusual step today. They announced that if needed, they would save the speakership of Mike Johnson, the very conservative Louisiana Republican if individuals like Marjorie Taylor Greene and others tried to oust him. How are lawmakers responding to that?

On the steps of the Capitol, congressional correspondent Manu Raju said, “Yeah, it’s mixed views here, Jake. I mean, we do expect a wide number of lawmakers are probably overwhelmingly to vote to kill that effort oust Mike Johnson. This is much different than what happened in that historic and unprecedented ouster of Kevin McCarthy last fall when all Democrats voted to kick out Kevin McCarthy along with eight Republicans. This time we expect an overwhelming number of Democrats to save Mike Johnson.”

Boebert said, “We are passing the Democrat agenda each and every day that we’re here. We have a slim majority in the House and everything’s being passed overwhelmingly with Democrat support. So, it makes no difference to me if it’s Hakeem Jeffries as speaker or Mike Johnson right now.”

If Jefferies becomes speaker they wouldn’t have the votes because the Repukes would have to play the role of opposition and would be gas lighting their constituents into believing they sre against it.

It seems simple to me-

One either trusts Pres Trump or not.

If something seems illogical, he deserves the benefit of the doubt and the use of some reason to try and figure it out.

The object at this point is to defeat Be dog and expand control of the House and regain the the Senate. The time for a civil war over Rino’s is this time next year. If Jeffies was the speaker then LITERALLY VOTER FRAUD WOULD BECOME LEGAL. If Jeffries is speaker, say good bye to the Bill of Rights.

Suicide is not a virtuous principle, conservative or otherwise.

The only hope to avoid an honest to God shooting version of an civil War is to beat the Demonrats this election.

I will say it again. Suicide is not a virtuous principle, conservative or otherwise. She is playing into the deep state’s hands.

That’s coming for the working class anyway. Trump left the rich tax cuts permanent but put a sunset on the working class tax cuts.

Tax increases for the rich.

Something else that would have to pass a filibuster in the Senate.

Your rationalizations to keep establishment Republicans is office is every bit as much of a problem as anything Democrats fantasize about doing.

The biggest problems this county faces are when the establishments of both parties agree -- on open borders, running up debt to stay in power an enrich themselves and laundering money through by using foreign policy.

My guess is that you're a Zeeper and that's why you're defending Mikey.

If Jeffries is speaker, say good bye to the Bill of Rights.

We still have the Supreme Court and the States. Congress and the Biden Administration can't just ignore the Constitution.

Hmmm, really?

A weakie GOPer will still vote with us at least most of of the time.

A 'progressive' Dem just might vote for Supremes packing, First and Second Amendment undoing, and a long list of issues that affect our wonderful Country and my kids and grandkids' future.

I could go on, hopefully you see the point, my FRiend.

Russia meddling in our country is our biggest problem! 😂

If that was sarcasm, that would be quite funny.

I guess you believe the eviiil Russians were the reason Trump won in 2016,too!

Our elite's obsession with Russia and desire to fight a proxy war with Russia is actually the greatest national security threat we face.

Russia is not the old Soviet Union. Our elite has gone out of its way to make Russia an enemy because they want to overthrow Putin and raid Russia of money and resources just like they were doing in Ukraine.

As a result, stupidly, we've pushed Russia into an alliance with China, given rise to BRICS and are closer to a hot war with Russia, nuclear war and WW III than we during the Cold War.

Zeepers like you are insane.

Can you say, “Packed Court”?

Do you really think the Demonrats would not hold impeachment hearing and remove conservative judges?

If Jefferies were speaker Clarence Thomas would suddenly die of natural causes with two bullets in his head. If we lose the house, this nation is irretrievably over.

Suicide is not an virtuous principle

Do you not understand how evil the Demonrats are?

What in hell are you babbling about?

I didn't know a thing about Johnson when he was up for nomination.

You're making things up but I'd expect nothing less from a Zeeper freak with a fetish toward the Republican establishment.

Jeffries will push for a charge and conviction on Insurrection.

Which will go nowhere in the Senate and die in the courts.

That quote is absolutely crazy.
And it demonstrates how insane an inflexible positron can become.

If she truly doesn’t understand the effect on dozens of committees and the possibility of Biden pushing through radical legislation, she doesn’t even belong in the Congress.
