The Gem State is no stranger to the weird and wonderful world of silly legislation, and like many states, we harbor a number of outdated statutes written too long ago to be relevant, and too nonsensical to make removing them from the rulebooks worth the effort. So, we dug a little deeper into Idaho’s hidden vault of crazy laws to see what sort of ridiculous ordinances we could find that you haven’t heard of yet. Here are just a few of the weirdest laws in Idaho:
1. It is against the law to live in a dog kennel (or house) unless you’re a dog.

Dogs —- MANY DOGS BARKING — Barking —- garden hose
Judy, when I’m watering that’s exactly what I do but and I’m out on front or back deck the water isn’t on n hose is tucked away
There is one back outdoor water outlet - well
My son says when he can walk and get out on decks he’ll use pellet gun
Judy this trip actually short - 3 hours ( but Murphy helped me enhance it to 6)
My “later this year” trips to Ohio (8hrs) and Oklahomas City (16 hrs) will be more of a challenge
Glad I’m still able to confidently drive. This will no doubt be my last trip to OKC and Ohio - who knows.

I have to water some of the garden tomorrow so I will take some shots. I have no idea what most of the plants are....other than the easy ones, the hostas and such. The one little pond isn’t yet cleaned out and up and running, but that doesn’t matter....it just sounds so much nicer when it is lol.
