2) Signal, the encrypted messaging program that is used by Edward Snowden and most dissenters worldwide, now has Katherine Maher on its board, She was just named CEO of National Propaganda (Public) Radio. That cannot be good.
3) “They’re torturing us”: A Patriot Day (J6) prisoner has been held 1,200 days without a trial. Both the prosecutor and the judge should be criminally AND civilly liable.
4) More on the Navy’s new “Manta” sub that uses “gliding tech” to stay on station for much longer times with a new payload of unspecified types. I’m guessing this is a drone launcher.

I am in the courtroom and will be reporting on the continued testimony of Stephanie Clifford, aka Stormy Daniel, against the lead candidate for President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
The District Attorney’s Office has entered the courtroom, sans Alvin Bragg.
President Donald J. Trump and the defense has re-entered the courtroom. Emil Bove walked in with him along with Eric Trump, Alina Habba, Boris Ephstyn and Natalie Harp.
Merchan has reentered the court
Todd Blanche starts the proceedings asking for a MISTRIAL, saying the guardrails have been completely removed with regards to the testimony.
Blanche continues, the alleged incident in 2006 is so far outside the realm of the case, has nothing to do with the case, is extraordinarily prejudicial, and the only reason the prosecution asked the questions is to smear the defendant, Donald J. Trump, in the eyes of the jury.
Blanche continues: Stormy Daniels has inserted safety concerns in a case about business records.
This is the best I’ve seen Blanche so far during the trial, he came out with conviction and clarity.
Blanche continues: I think you (the Judge) knew there could be prejudicial testimony, hence you put the guardrails. That is not what we heard today from Stormy Daniels, the prosecution has completely gone off the rails, and there is no remedy for the defense, Donald J. Trump.
Blanche continues: We believe regrettably there should be a mistrial and to the extent there is another trial, this witness should be excluded or limited.
DA’s side up: This story is directly related to the $ paid from Donald J. Trump to Stormy Daniels.

Judge Merchan: as a threshold matter there were probably things that would have been left unsaid, the unfitness was a little out of control. Having said that, i do think there were guardrails in place. I don’t think we’re at the place where this trial (inaudiable).
I will note that there was not more objections (my side note: of course, if Trump team objects too much, it can look toxic to the jury).
I believe the remedy is on cross-examination. I will rule on this:
Necheles makes the objection point that I did in the previous tweet. Merchan says we will have to agree to disagree.
I don’t believe we have reached a point where a mistrial is warranted.
I do think it was regrettable some of the things that were said by the witness and I will point out that the more times Stormy Daniel’s story has changed, the more opportunity you have in cross examiniation
So I am going to deny your (President Donald J. Trump’s) request for a mistrial.
