District Attorney Sandra Doorley repeatedly ignored officer commands when stopped for speeding in Webster this week — telling them she was the DA, didn’t care about the reason for the stop and that they should leave, footage released by the Town of Webster shows.
“I am the DA of Monroe County,” she told the officer at one point in the interaction captured by the officer’s body worn camera. “...I don’t really care. You know what, if you give me a traffic ticket, that’s fine. I’m the one that prosecutes it, OK? Just go ahead and do it. Go ahead. Go ahead.”
Doorley was caught going 55 in a 35 mph zone at 6 p.m. Monday on Phillips Road in Webster. She did not immediately stop but continued to her house on Fallen Leaf Terrace roughly a mile away. The officer pursued with his lights and siren on, records show.
In a statement Thursday, she said she called Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier from her vehicle so officers would know she wasn’t a threat. In the body worn camera video, she told the officer that she "was on the phone with Dennis, telling him, why are you pulling me over?”
...
“I believe in responsibility for my actions and have no intention of using my position to receive a benefit,” Doorley wrote in a statement released Thursday. “Nobody, including your District Attorney, is above the law, including traffic laws.”

They blur her license plate but leave the coordinates.
More reasons why humans should not be given power over other humans without EXTREME and DEFINATE limitations...
When I read the excerpt, I was thinking Massachusetts, but it could be anywhere in Blue America. Or Red America. At least it was a county, not a province. so I could think it was in the USA, not Canada. At least the station call letters made in east of the Mississippi River.
Thanks to the later posters who did ID this as NYS.
” identifying which state these place names are would be helpful.”

Every Government employee who abuses their position of authority such as this should be immediately terminated with immediate loss of retirement/pension/medical benefits and...AND... be mandated to receive a forehead tattoo “G”, to let every citizen know and put every other government agency on notice “VIOLATED THE PUBLIC TRUST.DO NOT HIRE.NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH ANY POSITION OF AUTHORITY”
She’s the flipping DA!
She’d hang any of us working slobs fur doing what she JUST DID.
Yep...this is cruel, but abuse or powder MUST cease, OR these petty tyrants will be the death of our society.
I’m not gonna apologise for the comment.
...she’d probably SWAT my home, if she knew who I am.
That’s the problem with these tin horn tyrants who think they’re above the laws they’re paid to enforce.
Travis County (Austin, Texas aka Berkley on the Colorado) booking of Democrat DA on you tube. It is most amusing especially the restraints put on her.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7y7oJ266qI
Next link is video of her arrest. It is most amusing.

Want some good news to start off 2017? Rosemary Lehmberg is no longer Travis County’s DA as of this Tuesday, Jan. 3.
“Want some good news to start off 2017? Rosemary Lehmberg is no longer Travis County’s DA as of this Tuesday, Jan. 3.”
And now their current DA is far to the left of Lehmberg.
I wonder who she bones on a regular basis? She knows she can not prosecute herself. In fact, the case should be before a visiting Magistrate or Judge. She is a Karen, and a poor DA. the officer was exemplary in his conduct, manner, and words.
Yeah, pretty funny.
I remember driving in Nashville TN and seeing a police officer park his marked patrol car at a metered parking space at the curb. The uniformed officer got out of the police car and put change in the parking meter before he went into the eating establishment. I was so impressed, I drove around the block and parked. I walked into the place and personally thanked the cop for his conduct in doing what the rest of us are required to do but that he could have easily ignored.
The people charged with enforcing the law MUST also obey the law if we are to respect the law.
Lol nope. Maybe she’s gotta bit of a history.
Thank you.
Imagine if she was a 22 year old black guy headed home from work. He wouldn’t have walked away with a ticket.
She needs to lose her job. Arrogant prick. Nothing is more stupid than a DA who thinks they can order cops around like a supervisor.
Body cams make it a little difficult to play “lets make a deal” with the arresting officer. Oh well.
You have to wonder about the mental stability of a person in that position who would get into a squabble with a cop over a minor traffic offense in which the cop probably had the discretion to let her off with a warning had she simply stopped when signaled and let him carry on with the duty chargeable to both of them, namely, enforcing the law. Especially when the entire exchange is being taped and can easily end up costing your job and exposing you to public shame and ridicule.
Nope
Although you can flip your hazards on and keep driving to a place off the road so the traffic stop is in a safer place. Preferably a parking lot somewhere where there is video recording.
Wonder why she changed her party.
What an arrogant satchel-ass!!!
Laws are for the LITTLE PEOPLE.
Her political party is DEEP STATE no matter what she runs as.
She should be billed for the time she wasted for 5 or 6 LEOs.
You know they are going to make this poor patrolman’s life HELL ON EARTH for daring to stop her and issuing a speeding ticket..
Here is the problem she is white and will be prosected
And the fact that she switched parties to get her job...is another nail.
Out she goes...she's a disgrace.
She went home for one reason...to escape arrest...her home is her castle. It's like safe harbor in this case.
