A California lawmaker has unveiled plans for a 'Genealogy Office' to decide which residents are genuine descendants of slaves and could get life-changing benefits payouts.
Steven Bradford, a Democratic state Senator for LA County, proposed bill SB 1403 to create a controversial genealogy unit to 'confirm reparations eligibility' of applicants.
The state's first-in-the-nation reparations task force last year decided that some residents should win $1.2 million payouts as compensation for injustices from the slavery era onwards

Which Gene carries the “I’m owed money!” marker?
Does slavery cause modifications to DNA that can be located through testing?
Does it state how long a person was in servitude?
Does it show that a person was an indentured servant o pay for their fare to get to America? Is that a difference Gene than the involuntary servitude gene?

What happens if someone was told via oral history that they were descended from slaves? Is that discounted because it is not verifiable?
Yes, great point. One drop rules were used to among other things, prosecute miscegenation. It wasn't until Loving v. Virginia that such rules were declared unconsitiutional.
23andMe tells a lot of whites that they have 0.1% or 0.2% Sub-Saharan ancestry. I think the results are very unreliable when dealing with such small percentages.
I have been researching my genealogy for several years now. It is amazing how many famous people you are related to if you go back far enough.
I have gone back over 500 years on several of my ancestry lines (1,000 years for one line) and have found that I have common ancestors with almost a dozen U.S. Presidents along with English and Scottish royalty. I also found out that my parents were 10th cousins (common ancestors 11 generations ago).

I don't think so. I've been saying they should check instead of giving money to all blacks, some of whom have ancestors who owned slaves, and blacks whose families moved here after slavery.

According to an article written by Kamala Harris' father, he claims that Hamilton Brown was an ancestor of his, and was a slave owner in Jamaica in the 18th century.
Snopes, of course, says this is "unproven", but doesn't say it is false, which means it must be true.

The demographic change in LA County raises a number of questions. For example, what happened to nearly a million black folks who used to live in LA County? Take Watts. It was nearly 100% black. Now it’s about 80% Mexican.
Nobody, especially the fascist media, is curious about that. I am, though. Did the Mexicans racially cleanse LA? If true, then the fascist press has covered up one of the biggest stories of the early 21st century. Why would they do that?
Further, if the Mexican demographic number continues to increase, I’m predicting the collapse of the white power structure in LA County and finally the state itself.

I have had exactly the same thoughts and the same conclusions.
I think what happened is that the Sureno/Norteno gangs muscled virtually all the black gangs out of Watts/Compton and the remaining people went to Inglewood and East to Riverside where they spread out, not concentrated like Watts and Compton were.
White Leftist media doesn’t want to talk about such uncomfortable realities...like the fact that Los Invaders are as raciss as the Evil Whiteys.
