This is the innocent 68-year-old grandmother who was punched in the face and pushed down the stairs outside a Queens church during a robbery that saw her sixteen-year-old attacker take off with her car.
Irene Tahliambouris suffered a fractured skull, black eye, and numerous bruises from the vicious assault that took place outside of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on 152 Street in Briarwood around 8.20 on Sunday.
Her attacker Jayvaun Prince, 16, was taken into custody today in a gurney after suffering an unknown medical episode.

On the other thread I mentioned it was not necessary to hurt the woman like that. She would have either handed the purse and any jewelry or phone to him or he could have overpowered her and taken off. I’m sure she wouldn’t have used advanced martial arts to stop him.
Until I saw this video version I forgot that there was a case of two young (non black) men who on a whim pushed a young woman down a really long flight of stairs in some public place. Then one looked around like a small boy and grabbed her cell phone and ran.
Get him with attempted murder.
The death penalty needs to be brought back.

As an ex education employee…and a once avid fan of the novel/movie “A Clockwork Orange” a 16 year old can be a big kid or a hardened adult criminal in every way except his age.

We know he “loves justice” (Isaiah 30:18 And Psalm 33:4-6) and encourages us to get it (against the Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Jebusites and others)
