Trump campaign demands Biden debate him 'much earlier' and more often

EXCLUSIVE: The Trump campaign is calling for additional 2024 presidential debates and for them to take place "much earlier" than initially proposed by the debate commission, with former President Trump telling Fox News Digital that he is "totally committed" to debating President Biden "anytime, anywhere, anyplace."

Fox News Digital exclusively obtained a letter Trump co-campaign managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita sent Thursday to The Commission on Presidential Debates co-chairs Frank Farenkopf Jr. and Antonia Hernandez.

Wiles and LaCivita told the commission they were writing "in agreement with the pending letter," reported by The New York Times, "from television networks advocating for presidential debates to occur in 2024."

"While the Commission on Presidential Debates has already announced three presidential debates and a vice-presidential debate to occur later this year, we are in favor of these debates beginning much earlier,"

Biden’s handlers won’t let him debate. People will really see how bad his condition is.

. And the media will support as they know how really incoherent SloJo actually is.

Biden will invent some excuse not to debate so its in Trump’s favor to push for as many as possible to make Biden look weak.

Would love to see Trump debate a coked-out Joe Biden (or whatever it is that they give him). All Trump needs to do is poke the bear by repeatedly making him angry. Start by asking him why he has so much energy when he normally has trouble reading a teleprompter.

Even with whatever they give him, Biden will find it difficult to handle a debate. He won’t have the teleprompter to help him out and, unless he’s given an ear piece, he’ll have to respond in real time. When Juiced-Joe gets frustrated he either gets angry or confused. Trump’s team needs to have frequency jammers at the debate to prevent him using an earpiece.

I disagree. The more Biden is on camera, and off prompter the better. A month or so ago in PA, he claimed he was running for congress.

Say, a debate late spring or early summer to drive home the cost of travel and groceries for the family BBQ, etc.

I hope Trump will actually REALLY prepare for the debates, unlike last time.

Are you aware that Biden reads notecards that have the answers to the pre-determined questions in his so-called press conferences? I do not think that Biden will be able to read notecard answers in a debate, even though the questions will probably be given to him in advance.

Actually I don’t think so

It’s a win win for trump

Firstly , trump knows he can demolish Biden in the debates

Secondly, by calling Biden out this early for debates its
Just another way for trump to stay on the attack. An offence is always the best tactic by forcing Biden play Defense.

I remember during the gop debates the candidates didn’t come out very hard against trump until the end. Trump is doing the same now but early

That’s my take on things.

Remember Trump invited all those women who accused Clinton of molesting them to his debate with Hilla the Hun?

Now he should invite a bunch of schoolgirls to the debate with Biden to throw him off his game.

Disagree. Campaigning is a process and Trump wants everyone to see Joe’s mental state.

I doubt Biden will agree to any debates for obvious reasons.

But if he had to, his ideal scenario would be himself sitting in the Oval Office (with a screen, out of view of the television audience, telling him what to say), and Trump participating from a prison cell in an orange jump suit.

I think pretty much DJT would just have to stand there & FJB aka Captain Dementia would very shortly resort to yelling & being his nasty self. His public appearances are tightly controlled in all aspects & with DJT on the stage, that level of control wouldn’t be possible.

I wonder if he’d have to have a card with DJT’s picture on it like he does when he meets foreign dignitaries?/s

Yes, I agree. There’s no way to control a debate to the degree that would be needed.

Biden ain’t leaving his basement, and the ramping of the abortion issue will make sure Trump does not win. Here in PA the commie, republicans baby killers will not vote for Trump. at a 2-3% rate that is a 4-6% real number. They won’t stay home and they split the votes from local to statewide and national.

“I hope Trump will actually REALLY prepare for the debates, unlike last time.”

He did pretty good considering he spent more time debating Chris Wallace than he did with Joe Biden.
