A Section High School transgender female student says she was turned away from the prom Friday because she was wearing a dress and wouldn’t change into slacks.
Jackson County parent Lesa Drake spoke with WAAY 31 News. She tells us she told her son that if he and their friends needed anything during prom night, to give her a call. Lesa then says she got a call from a transgender female student asking if she would help walk her into the prom.
Drake says once she got to the prom, Section High School’s principal told the transgender student she could not go into the dance unless she changed out of her dress and into slacks.
Drake said, “I kept asking why. Why can't she come? Because she's wearing a dress. There were other transgender students in there not wearing their birth gender attire. What is wrong with this issue? And he kept saying, 'I told her yesterday.'"

Well the last bit if true means transgenderism was tolerated at least in some cases (or not noticed because the individuals could pass as the other gender?).
If you don’t want to attract attention, don’t dress as a member of the opposite sex.

Proms should be done away with. These mentally ill people can have their celebrations somewhere else where normal people won’t be subjected to their garbage.
I doubt anyone was denied entry into a prom because they are transgender. If a guy wants to wear a dress to his prom, so be it. This is a contrived story.
But then that’s what they’re trying to do - get attention. ‘Feel” special....set themselves apart from the ordinary rather than work at life to make something of themselves.
It’s past time parents and adults stop catering to the whims of kids!
