Back then, I thought MLK was a weirdo. Who would judge by skin color??? My black friends are fun to play with and like the same cartoons and cereal I did!!!

When I got into the 4th grade, the first black family moved into my town and became friends with their daughter.

A few months later someone threw a Molotov cocktail through their front window.
