Afire broke out on the Russian missile ship Serpukhov in the Kaliningrad region, causing significant damage, according to RBC-Ukraine source within special services.
The source says the fire engulfed the Serpukhov on April 7. It is a small missile ship of Project 21631 Buyan-M (the fifth ship in the series).
Since the full-scale war against Ukraine began, the Russians have already lost many ships, including those of the Black Sea Fleet. Recently, the Ukrainian military attacked large landing ships in Crimea, Yamal and Azov.
The Ukrainian Navy also confirmed the damage to the Russian medium reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs.
On March 24, Ukrainian forces hit with a missile the large landing ship Konstantin Olshansky, which Russia stole from Ukraine in 2014 during the occupation of Crimea.
As the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk said in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian fighters destroyed 4 large landing ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, leaving the occupiers with 5 amphibious assault ships in operation....

I found no reports coming from the alphabet news agencies from here or the UK. The one linked to is 7 hours old, more than enough time for them to pick it up & report on it, yet none to be found by them. I find that strange.
What countries has the US attacked, invaded, and annexed in the last 20 years?
In that time, Russia has already done that to three countries - Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine (twice)
Russia has been at war for 22 of the 25 years Putin has been in power
Did you forget about the “Arab Spring” and the spate of regime change our illustrious government went on?
We lost Bonhomme Richard, an amphibious, to a fire in port.
Lost a submarine because the union workers decided they wanted the day off so they set fire to the boat.
US didn’t invade or annex any of those countries
Russia did
That’s the difference
Dunno, making a puppet state us just as bad as annexing it.
Second thought: you would feel the same way if the US government did regime change in Canada, right?
You’d support Mexico if they invaded the US, right?
Exactly. Boats are inherently problematic. Missiles, are too.
Plenty of things could cause this to go up, from bad luck to sabotage to a moronic sailor flipping the wrong switch.
They already are invading.
I say we send them up to Canada.
The United States is responsible for the puppet government in Ukraine!
My my what a dim view of reality you have up in Canada. Must be the Castro/Trudeau effect.
So in your eyes fomenting revolution/civil war in Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Guatemala, oh, yeah, and Ukraine doesn’t count? The U.S. was behind the communist takeover in Brazil and now they’ve set their sights on over-throwing the Israeli government.
Pretty good record, beats Putin by a few miles.
Provide me with a report from a major reporting site, because everything I’ve seen is from some site in Ukraine, including the one you link to, or should I Microsoft Start links to, which comes from RBC Ukraine.

Why bother with these people at all?
Ukrainian propagandists show some ship blowing up, same explosion from different camera angles, play some rock videos, give the ship a name, then sit on it.
Two months later the same video gets spliced with some newer or older footage, new name for ship or ships, rinse and repeat.
“The whole Russian Navy is already at the bottom of the Black Sea.”(sarcasm)
How wide will the DMZ be?
I'm thinking RUssia will chop off a bit more of Ukraine from the Kiev regime this summer. Odessa is the big prize they would like to capture, but it might be a goal too far.
That BBQ onboard the ship got out of hand.
Wars do tend to prove and disprove the effectiveness of weapons systems
Militarily I don’t think either side can change the existing lines significantly.
Politics and internal events will have a far greater impact on how things end.
Much will depend on western aid to Ukraine.
Loss of territory IMO is far more significant to putins ability to maintain control and power,
So far he has, but with increasing pressures on Russian economy and public through losses of men, increasing stresses on the public like increased taxes, failing infrastructure (not by direct attacks), and increasingly harsher controls on public by kremlin…,any kind of military set back (as happened briefly after kherson goodwill gesture) may cause challenges to putins power and control.
If such a scenario happens, we know that Putin is a “history” buff, and would know scenarios like this have occurred repeatedly there and around the world, that history is surely in the back of his mind
Put the hopium pipe down, God doesn’t side with monsters
Putin - and Hamas - are both in for big disappointments this year, Rooskie
Good
:)
Because their support of this conflict under misguided erroneous beliefs, affect all Americans & the entire world. I think that to be important enough to counter their stupidity. 🙂👍
