Most of the time, you're excited to return home after a vacation. That wasn't the case after Jimmy Kimmel's recent trip to Japan with his family.
"After traveling to Japan, I realize that this place, this USA we're always chanting about, is a filthy and disgusting country," the host said on Monday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
The ABC host admitted that before spending seven days in Japan, he believed America was a country that had its faults and "areas for improvement," but that it was "pretty buttoned up" compared to the rest of the world.
"I go to Europe, and there are dirt holes where plumbing is supposed to be. I hold my breath, and I go, 'I'm glad I'm not one of these people,' and then I go back home," Kimmel explained. That wasn't the case when it came to the Land of the Rising Sun.
"It's like the whole country is Disneyland and we're living at Six Flags," Kimmel said. "I've been home 36 hours, I have never felt dirtier. We are like hogs compared to the Japanese. I can't imagine what they must think of us. 'Oh, the garbage people. Yes, the Americans. Garbage.'"
The late-night host said that he didn't encounter a single dirty bathroom during his time in the country.

Is there anything he does not bitch about ? He must miserable to be around.
There must be something we have that Japan doesn’t.... I know it’ll come to me.
Everything filthy and disgusting, about this country, was caused by libs, like YOU, brainless Kimmel.

SO TRUE!
Jimmy should go to Singapore where it is REALLY nice.
I occasionally must travel to Europe for business. I always make a point to spend a few days in Switzerland, visiting towns and hiking to re-charge my faith in the potential of human civilization.
Although the last time I was in Zurich, walking through the Sechseläutenplatz (in front of the Opera House) on a Friday evening, there was a standard group of young male South Asian trash, playing loud music, making a mess, and verbally harassing young women who walked by - so the cancer has spread everywhere.
Yes, Japan by comparison is a good example of why multiculturalism and DEI are poisonous. They might eat American food, listen to American music, watch American movies, wear American clothes but at the end of the day they are still Japanese. We, on the other hand, have lost our Americanism, our youth and now young adults are being taught that it is bad.
Japan is probably one of the most racist countries in the world, and you would think Kimmel would know that, but evidently he does it
Vote Blue Jimmy
Eh?
It’s called homogeneity, Jimbo. You Democrat nitwits voted for America to be overrun by 3rd world peasants and now you have the audacity to judge our country? But you dated Sarah Silverman for years so no use trying to reason with you.
"there was a standard group of young male South Asian trash, playing loud music, making a mess, and verbally harassing young women who walked by - so the cancer has spread everywhere."They are subhuman animals who should be eliminated from Western society. They belong back in their mud hovels.
Japan has a synergistic population and doesn’t have a large group of professional welfare victims.
Our local courthouse is 51 years old. There is not a single word or drawing on any bathroom stalls or doors. And never has been. It’s not all bad. Just bad where liberals allow it to go on.
Kimmel prefers homogeny to diversity.
No.
It didn't.
The vast wild and varied lands of America and its independent and free loving people of only a few centuries is a completely different place than the one peoples on an island nation the size of California with 1000s of years of basically unvarying sameness and obedient conformity.
Only because Jimmy Kimmel is in it, however, we can fix that, and Kimmel at the same time.
