Joseph I. Lieberman, the doggedly independent four-term U.S. senator from Connecticut who was the Democratic nominee for vice president in 2000, becoming the first Jewish candidate on the national ticket of a major party, died March 27 in New York City. He was 82.
The cause was complications from a fall, his family said in a statement.

I did as well. I think he was a decent man. That said, I hope they turn his funeral into the same kind of pep rally that they did with Paul Wellstone and we can again use it to bury these clymers in November.
Joe Biden was used to pro-Israel Democrats like Lieberman. Now his handlers have realized that the world is changing. So Biden is trying to appeal to the Muslims in Michigan by being tough on Israel.

He was old school, a blue dog Democrat, but he was wrong on many of his Senate votes,where he put party before People.
Like many he did not fight agaist the take over of his party by radical leftists.IN this he shared an attitude of over inclusivity.
And now the nation is in the thralls of death due to liberal fascists who control the party that men like Leiberman handed over to them.

Recently commented to the negative on the illegal treatment of Trump and weaponized DOJ— totally unConstitutional. So, in that sense a true liberal democrat— not the woke obamaumao-ist who seem to think they can do anything.
He just commented within the last month. Sorry he fell and complications of the fall killed him. Gore’s running mate back when, did not help the further crazed left Gore whose fanatic vote stealing was trying to be done in public. Go Florida—they stopped him, cold Gore and his little army of Vanderbilt undergrad punks to challenge every precinct vote in a re-count. Floridians will remember.
Lieberman was the only choice for anti-Semite Gore to keep the Leftist “jew”-ish vote. Can’t be done nowadays not with what is being done by demonrats to jews all over the US and the world- Israel. Shalom Shalom Joe- you did have some real integrity— vs the shoe scraping that is Schumer.

I heard him recently criticize Biden’s Gaza War handling. Hope it’s not related.
I forget who said this but it was as follows:
“If politics were like football the GOP should trade McCain for Joe Lieberman and also throw in a first round draft.”
Joe was a liberal but an honest man. His word was good. He was a patriot and what democrats were in the past. They are no longer this. I will miss Joe Lieberman .

RIP Joe! One of the few decent Democrats who learned from his mistakes and strived to do the right thing. I heard him interview with Hannity, Bongino and others and liked what he had to say. A realist.
