"It's just insanity" that there could be another push to oust a House speaker over a budget disagreement, and there will be trouble for the Republican Party if such actions keep occurring, former Rep. Pete King said on Newsmax Sunday about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's motion to vacate filed Friday against House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Hey, it's normal for RINOS to have Hissy-fits 8 or 9 months before a critical election. I'm starting to believe the Republicans might know how to govern but don't have a clue about bringing their views to the American people and uniting like the Democrats do.

We are better doing nothing except voting for a speaker than passing the left-wing agenda.

It is far more important to defeat bad bills than it is to pass “good” bills.

“I’m starting to believe the Republicans might know how to govern but don’t have a clue about bringing their views to the American people and uniting like the Democrats do.”

The problem is, RINOs don’t want to unite, except with democrats.

Why is it that we are always making the concessions to the Democrats? Every single time?

Mike Johnson has to go.

Abraham Lincoln replaced all of his Generals until he was able to find Grant.

The inability for the GOP to run a stable House will discourage support at the polls. Too bad Johnson took another huge crap on our future.

Why do the Republicans have sub-names for their party, like GOPe, Rinos etc, where a percentage of the party always supports the Communist left?

Sounds like one big con job to me.

Wake up...We have the House alone...They have the Senate and the Presidency.

And like it or not...there are deadlines and consequences for shutting the government down.

Mike Johnson is doing a good job...and still has Ukraine at bay. And is still waiting for the Senate to put HR2 up for a vote.

Go after Biden and Schumer and stop going after the good guys...or pretty soon....we'll be all Dems.

The GOP majority in the House is 1-2 votes slim.

So if that slim majority won’t united behind something, it leaves the opportunity to the Dims.

It shouldn’t. They should start paying attention and working to get actual MAGA-types to run in the primary. And elect them. Letting the demo-commies and rinos choose who they can vote for in the general election is pretty stupid. And gives us the sorry results we see today.

The problem is, a stable house passing terrible bills will cause conservatives to stay home under the impression, voting doesn’t matter. Democrats run the congress whether they have the majority or not, why is voting necessary?

Thank you for saying something.

This is absurd. We’re acting like Dems always used to. It’s childish and unstable. Never mind the other nasty behaviors typical of Dems that Repubs are increasingly adopting.

That's a silly analogy.

If Abraham Lincoln's generals were elected by all the other generals, nobody ever would have heard of Ulysses Grant.

So be it. Kick out Mike Johnson. Hakeem Jeffries will become Speaker until November. Then we vote.

I agree. And with whom will we replace him? And with our whopping majority, who will garner a majority on the first ballot? As wretched as this bill was, unless we can answer those questions, proceeding to vacate the chair is pointless

“over a budget disagreement“

It was another total sell out to the rats, it was not just “ a budget disagreement“

If it continues to be like this, I'll just vote for the libertarian candidate if he's on the ballot. Why vote for the RINO if he's working for Joe Biden?
