New York Attorney General Letitia James appears to be gearing up to potentially seize Donald Trump's Westchester golf club and Seven Springs estate as the deadline looms for the ex-president to secure the $454 million bond in his civil fraud trial.
The attorney general formally registered judgements in Westchester County where Trump has the two properties just north of Manhattan on March 6.
According to the county clerk's online database, the judgements were registered against Trump, the Trump Organization and his two adult sons Don Jr. and Eric. The action was first reported by Bloomberg News.

Unfortunately, if the assets seized don’t meet the bond obligation for the appeal, the AG will seize some more until they do. Who knows where that will end.
They will probably purposefully sell it on the cheap to their friends and political cronies.

I grew up outside of NYC, but lived there, DC and in Upstate NY
I've always likened NY State to the former East Germany - living off its Christian cultural past, one-party marxist rule, life is OK in the center of power, but getting worse for those outside, control from elsewhere, with a culture/political elite who decide what the plebs see and hear - and it snows a lot too.
The justice system in NYC is among the most corrupt if not THE most corrupt in the entire country. Just the fact that she ran for AG fully dispaying her bias, partiality should have had her disbarred by the NY bar association, but even that is just as corrupt. It’s always been like that. My dad was an NYPD cop in the 1960s and 1970s and he said the corruption was just as insane.
Somebody in the NYC Dem circles got to this pig and told her not to touch a Trump property in NYC, which was her dream. Trump Tower vs a golf course wasn’t what she was boosting about. I see this move as one that’s taking some wind out of her sails.
Absolutely deprivation under color of law.
But the case is currently under the jurisdiction of the State of New York which hostile and unfair to Trump.
What James and the corrupt state of NY has done to him is completely unconstitutional but Trump has no case for Federal appeal until he has suffered harm
My bet is he is waiting for James to wrongfully seize his assets so he can circumvent the State of NY and go directly to federal court and appeal on constitutional grounds
If he posts a bond, he remains stuck in the insanely corrupt and biased NY “ justice “ system
My bet is James seizes Trump assets and Trump files for a stay in Federal court pending a federal appeal on constitutional grounds
She registered a lien weeks ago, precicely to grease the skids for a seizure.
