When veteran pollster Scott Rasmussen surveyed a group of Americans he calls the elite 1% earlier this year, he discovered a startling number who say it’s OK to win an election by cheating.
The elite 1%—individuals who make over $150,000 a year, live in densely populated areas, and have postgraduate degrees—are overwhelmingly liberal. They give President Joe Biden an 82% approval rating, compared to his 40% average from the rest of Americans.
Rasmussen asked these liberal voters: “Suppose that your favorite candidate loses a close election. However, people on the campaign know that they can win by cheating without being caught. Would you rather have your candidate win by cheating or lose by playing fair?”
Among all Americans, just 7% said they would want their candidate to win by cheating. But that number rose to 35% among the elite 1% and skyrocketed to 69% among those who are part of the politically obsessed 1%, meaning they talk about politics every day.
“I’ve been polling for a very long time and the last finding is the most terrifying poll result I’ve ever seen,” Rasmussen told The Daily Signal.

Being “Elite” means never having to say you’re sorry.
That isn't quite the way it works - LOL. But there are plenty of people who gained their wealth by selling inferior products to uneducated buyers - Hollywood actors and social media influencers being prime examples - and who are terrified that under a just system the world will eventually demand a squaring of accounts and they will lose everything. They prefer an unjust system that allows them to buy preferences and keep what they have.

If he took the poll in early 1789 in France and asked the same question of the French royalty, he would probably have gotten similar answers.
What is going on with the press. $150,000 a year is not the top 1%. In 2021 that was $819,000 a year. $150,000 a year is not quite the top 10% and with BidenFlation will probably be < top 20% soon.
I think the key word in the article is liberal. Liberals are OK on cheating in elections. This has always made sense to me. You say your opponent is the Devil, Hitler etc. If you actually believe that you would to anything to make sure they did not get into power.
Since the se elite are gunless, they can be easily exterminated
The so-called elites are bloody fools. They think nothing can happen to them and they can take a crap on everyone and everything and ignore history showing time and again this usually ends up like the French Revolution for them and no mercy is given to them.
They are not elites, they are trash with more money than ethics, class and common sense.

not surprising ... america’s “elite” leaders include a very large percentage of actual sociopaths ... sociopaths tend to be exceptional ladder climbers because they have no compunctions against destroying whomever they must to rise ...
Seems the common issue these days but they come out of the voting base so maybe the base is corrupt.
And so, this *cough* survey *cough* is utter BS!
Throw in the fact that some people, OF ALL CLASSES, are corrupt/compromised, that too was a ridiculous statement.
But OTOH....the many commenters, on this thread, who not only believe this CRAP, but are in full throated agreement that those making/having more money than they do are "evil", are disgusting and stupid.
It has been in the works for a while now, just a short matter of time now.
How many "elite" ( REAL ELITES ! ) do you know? Many of them DO have guns and NOT just used for hunting.
What rock has Rasmussen been living under?—we knew they cheated because they like cheating.
What they enjoy even more is howling “election denier” whenever anyone calls them out on it.
The elites that I know live in gated communities.
The guards at the guard posts have guns.
