New York Attorney General Letitia James on Wednesday requested an appeals court turn down former President Donald Trump’s request to reduce or hold off collecting the bond amount of $454 million to cover a civil fraud judgment.
Trump must post a liquid (cash, securities) bond covering the full amount of the judgment to pause enforcement of the judgment, but 30 surety companies told Trump they would not accept real estate assets as collateral, Trump’s lawyers said Monday.
James could seek to freeze some of his bank accounts and properties if Trump cannot post the $454 million bond. Enforcement against Trump could begin as soon as March 25.

NPR had somebody on this morning saying she could prevent him from spending money in NY state, she could seize the funds. Same for the jet, etc.
We are now in a banana republic.
Not that it will make any kind of a difference but I will now refuse to do any kind of spending/business in NY state.
No cruise trips for leaves. will examine cans of food if it is produced in NY no buy, company head offices in NY no buy.
Will look at my small stock/etf holding and divest anything in NY state. Very small stuff not calling for a boycott just what I will do.

Well, one thing we don’t have to wonder about is her plan to be elected Governor of New York. That’s her long game.
That would be endlessly described as a bribe, and there would be whole new prosecutions begin over it.
She’s running for Governor.
