Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his government on Sunday that international leaders who are pushing for elections in the midst of the war are trying to “paralyze the country,” forcing Israel to stop fighting and lose the war.
Netanyahu did not name President Joe Biden explicitly, but spoke in the wake of Biden’s endorsement Friday of an alarming speech Thursday by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) demanding new elections in Israel to oust Netanyahu.

If Israel doesn't pacify that area, Hamas can reconstitute quickly, undermine resconstruction efforts and end up stronger than before October 7th.
If Israel does block off the terror supply infrastructure, Hamas, or something like it, will still likely return, but it will take much longer.
The real danger, as Democrats see it though, is if an Israeli operation in Rafah is a success, Netanyahu will be able to declare victory, the US will eventually have to congratulate him on the operation, and he will survive the next elections.
Translation: Netanyahu would likely lose an election held now.

Trump is not going to do away with foreign aid, particularly to Israel. Thankfully.
