Buying a home has become increasingly out of reach for Americans, who are grappling with a double whammy of high interest rates and surging home values. In his State of the Union address on Thursday, President Joe Biden proposed a new tax credit that would provide $10,000 to first-time home buyers.
Biden is also proposing a separate $10,000 tax credit for current homeowners who sell their "starter home" in order to jump into a bigger house. That could help melt a real estate market in which homeowners who locked in low mortgage rates during the pandemic and are hesitant to move because they now face significantly higher mortgage rates.

Pisses me off too, for multiple issues including:
(1) for specifically targeting people like you and me who made expensive choices that for which we have already paid;
(2) specifically creating programs to buy votes by letting freeloaders freeload; some of those receiving “forgiveness” by these leftist programs have, for years, been intentionally never paying ONE DIME back on their due loan payments, including many who are perfectly able to do so;
(3) protecting evil “too big too fail” banks and their related ilk to buy money and allies;
(4) promoting “communisocimarximaoifascism,” all lumped together because they are all the same thing, ideologies that massively impoverish and kill.
Everything, really, that “the left” does is for their own power, and not only financial, because if anyone else has freedom, leftists see that as an affront to their own power lust. They therefore see communisocimarximaoifascism as their best friend in gaining and wielding power.
Government can give you nothing it does not first take away.

Sure sucks to be the family that just bought their first home a year ago. They get to pay for someone else’s home. Of course we are within spitting distance of the USA going bankrupt so there is that. All part of the plan.

I learned the NATO phonetic alphabet awhile back, and it comes in handy at work. Spelling over the phone is problematic, especially with the poor connections we have.
