Shame on you, George Takei.
The Star Trek actor is using the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II as an all-purpose historical analogy to guilt-trip and stigmatize anyone who supports the deportation of illegal aliens. His false equivalence is both shocking and insulting in its manipulative audacity.
It’s especially insulting to that generation of Japanese Americans whose memory he clearly holds dear.

Bress his heart....
The moron is a clown. A real meatball.
Or the sharpest knife.
I didn’t even know he was still alive.
He’s dead, Jim.
He’s gay.
Homosexuals’ minds are clouded. They see everything that isn’t to their liking as an attack on their sexuality. They have no filter. His gayness doesn’t translate well, so he goes on pretending the democrats’ internment of Japanese in WW2 is the same as controlling immigration. There is no logical connection, ergo his homoerotic emotions dominate.

Oops, hit “post” too many times.
Stop posting all these headlines from liberals.
Mr. Sulu’s dilithium crystals have been drained.
Yes - he is a blithering idiot living a wicked lifestyle.
I'm also extremely familiar with EO 9066, where FDR proved the dimwit that he was.
The rounding up of legal Japanese and Japanese Americans was a very dark spot in American history - yet it did not happen at the end of a shiny bayonet, as George attempts to portray.
Instead, it was a notice to show up to a train stop in Los Angeles. The only time they went around to homes was if the father of the home had an occupation the government deemed risky - doctors, lawyers, etc.
George's family was sent to Arkansas. While there, they and everybody else had to fill out a loyalty questionnaire regarding their allegiance to the US.
The families who answered 'No' to questions 27 and 28 were regarded as "No-nos" and watched more carefully. In the case of the Takei family it resulted in them being sent to Tule Lake in California.
Question 27 had to do with willingess to serve in the US armed forces.
Question 28 was about denying allegiance to the Emporer of Japan.
The No-nos were looked down upon by most Japanese families in the various internment camps.
Most families has assimilated and wore their American patriotism with pride.
This can easily be seen by looking at the history during WWII of the 100/442 Regimental combat team.
They suffered enormous casualties, rescued the Texas Lost Battalion, and were the most decorated unit of their size in the war.
The motto was 'Go For Broke' - and they did.
Instead of admitting a wrong and honoring those who fought and died for our nation - along with their families who would be considered great patriots now - George Takei wants to turn it towards himself. He wants the spotlight.
That's George - and he is to be ignored.
I don't think any of his bulbs are that bright after they are used for his "recreational" purposes.
That’s fine, I’ve done that too.
Beginning in the mid-1600s, the japs were encouraged to go to the United States at the behest of their rulers for just one reason: To serve the ruler of Japan’s desire for expansion of their economic & military systems...
In the 1930s the Japanese in the U.S. revered the Emperor, not the American Constitution...
Interesting factoid, the California Governor who enacted FDR’s internment order was Earl Warren, later SCOTUS Chief Justice presiding over the Brown vs Board of Education case.
George has no shame. He’s incapable of being rational either. The guy is a lunatic.
Takei is a frustrated little homosexual, who’s life has been reduced to posting hatred on X.
Ignoring him is the best way to make him go away.
