A Delaware court has ruled that state laws on early and permanent-absentee voting violate the state constitution.
The state's Superior Court ruled Friday that a 2019 law passed by the state legislature, which allows 10 days of early voting, violates the state constitution that the General Election is to be held on one day.
The court also found that the state's Permanent Absentee Voting Statute violates state law by allowing voters to be placed on a permanent absentee voting list where ballots would automatically be sent to them for each election.
The voting votes were challenged in court by the Public Interest Legal Foundation.
The group initially brought the lawsuit in 2022 on behalf of Michael Mennella, an inspector of elections for the Delaware Department of Elections.

This is a good sign. The Dems will have to get their fraudulent ballots from someplace else. The law isn’t on their side this time.

Biden: So does my vote to re-elect President Obama I sent in this week not count? That isn’t fair.
this mean Delaware will manufacture emergency / crisis every 3-4:years?
Change the Constitution...Begin from whatever it is now and extend to include the weekend, i.e., a total of 6 days.....and no more. Each day....5 AM to 8 PM...no exceptions.
What’s the hurry? /s
No, one day voting, polls open at 6 am in NY, close at 6 am the following morning, polls open at 9 am in LA, close at 9 am the following morning. In other words, the polls open and close at the same time throughout the country.
I see your point and I do agree with the concept...except the New York vote won’t change the Ca vote in any way. I do blieve states in the same time zone should have consistent times and days.
Pennsylvania started the insanity in 2020. The GOP had a chance to get the Pennsylvania Supreme Court last election and failed miserably. I think on purpose.
Horse, barn, close.
Won’t make a difference in firmly Demonicrat Delaware, but still a good precedent for other cases to reference.
You can say that again.
A good place to start is to check the Constitution in each state.
