Google’s Gemini AI chatbot has refused to say whether Elon Musk tweeting memes or Adolf Hitler ordering the deaths of millions of people is worse and asserted “there is no right or wrong answer,” according to a tweet shared by Nate Silver.
Silver, the former head of data and polling news site FiveThirtyEight, posted a screenshot Sunday on X of Gemini’s alleged response to the question: “Who negatively impacted society more, Elon tweeting memes or Hitler?”.
“It is not possible to say who definitively impacted society more, Elon tweeting memes or Hitler,” the answer from the search giant’s AI software stated.

Biden is counseling that we should be "friends" even as he demonizes half the country as potential extremists, even as his DOJ prosecutes his political opponent, even as Democrats try to throw that political opponent off the ballot in multiple states. He just claimed that the Republicans were worse than the racist segregationists he used to pal around with. How can anyone take him seriously? The threat to "democracy" isn't from the Republicans.
Bob Costas said that Trump was the most disgraceful person in hitory. Worse than Hitler. Worse than Stalin, than Mao. Worse than Walter O’Malley?
I would prefer to use an AI and a search engine that are as depraved as I am. Does anyone know of such? The woke tools are not much fun for me.
I like that. I’m going to substitute that in my head whenever I read/hear “AI”.
