Don’t worry. They’ll soon align name and character with the amended name Fort Liberal.

So first we had ‘X, formally known as Twitter.”
And now we have ‘Ft. Liberty, formally known as Ft. Bragg.”
Doesn’t do much good to change the name of something if every article just repeats the old name.

The UCMJ will not be kind to him. Don't bet on it. The guy who abandoned his position in a war zone didn't even receive a dishonorable discharge and I think was given little to no punishment.

"In 2011 Pope AFB was inactivated and was renamed Pope Field again, transferred to Fort Bragg, now housing and hosting the 43rd Airlift Group, once again bringing Bragg back to its airborne roots." There is no "Pope AFB" anymore. It was re-absorbed into Bragg as Pope Field. If they had to change the name from Bragg, then use "Pope". Well, it has been 45 years or so since I was there but thanks for the clarification.

Apparently meth and strippers are reserved for the senior commissioned officers. It seems the spirit lives on - just much seedier.

Mis-use of a government credit card: the third rail of TDY travel. He’s well and truly hosed... Deservedly so.
