San Francisco's Democrat Mayor is pushing for single adults to be screened for drug addiction before receiving welfare benefits amid the city's spiraling fentanyl crisis.

Mayor London Breed is backing a pair of 'aggressive' public safety proposals that would require roughly 9,000 single adults on welfare to be screened and treated for illegal drug addiction or else lose their cash assistance.

She is also pushing to give police more crime-fighting powers, such as the use of drones and surveillance cameras.

Sound like part of “own nothing and be happy.” The .gov will soon use this to decide what gets allocated out in goods, rather than currency that allows free will choice- monthly allotment of cable, food, phone, housing and good behavior credits for social functions like ball games. Use your loyalty card too many times at Kroger’s on alcohol and expect a state intervention. If one can’t control themselves, the .gov will happily use it as an excuse to exert their own.
