Ukraine was “LOST” the minute the west pushed it into war, rather than sanely telling Z you cannot beat Russia in an open war.
You won’t ‘lose’ it. It will just be split into a group of protectorates.
We don’t “own” Ukraine, we have no treaty relationship that obliges us to defend Ukraine, and it is therefore impossible for us to “lose” it.

Firstly the boundaries of NATO were pushed almost 1000 miles towards Russia, an ethnic conflict within Russian ethnic majority provinces was fomented and subsidized, and during negotiations to resolve that conflict (Minsk Agreements) actively conspired to lie, mislead and break the agreements.
What NATO has done is essentially wage war against Russia and lost. This article argues that they double down on the previous failed strategy.
If Russia wasn’t bad they’d never have imprisoned the Pussy Riot Nobel Piece Prize winners.
