The Jan. 25 episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” went viral after creating a divide among fans for a racially-charged rape episode.
The episode features a white female rape victim that resisted testifying against her black attacker out of fear that he wouldn’t get a fair trial due to his race. The episode, called “Truth Embargo,” stars actress Romina D’Ugo in the role of the rape victim, Natalie, and the role of the rapist named Jay is played by actor Mykey Cooper, according to Fox News. Social media exploded after Natalie’s lesbian partner, played by actress Keeley Miller, told detectives Natalie is upset with the racial discrimination in the justice system.

You have got to be kidding me.
If he did it, he should be found guilty.
Is there any other concern at all? No!
Fairness? How fair was it that he mowed you down you dumb
..., aw never mind.
remember when L&O was a cop show?
yes, me too. I like the other law & orders, but done forever with SVU from a long, long time ago. Surprised it’s still on tbh.
If I see L&O on the rerun cable channels, I will watch if it's season 1 to 4. Otherwise, I just move on.
Wokekanda forever.
Uh, if she was raped by him, then she knows he is guilty. Why would she care about ensuring a fair trial when she, more than anyone, knows that he is guilty? I stopped watching Law and Order 20 years ago so I can’t boycott the show.
women...
“This is the epitomie of Hollyweird woke.”
Just a matter of time before Lefties will be advocating that some types of rapes should be legalized.
Maybe she thought rape is sexy. I just learned that is a thing these days. Just ask Anderson Cooper.
In gave up on that show eons ago, it became pretty stale and yet still on after over 20 years, I guess it is now the longest running prime time show. I much prefer the original Law & Order and like the first 4 seasons the best with Michael Moriarty rather than Sam Waterson. And who did not like Steven Hill as Adam Schiff the DA?
Don’t forget that E. Jean Carroll based her phony sex assault on Trump on a L & O episode from what back, I think I looked that episode up and pretty much dead on.
I think this woman has sick fantasies and needs serious mental help.
This doesn’t even make sense.
Isn’t the whole point of being concerned about “not getting a fair trial” related to some innocent person wrongfully accused being convicted for a crime he/she didn’t commit?
If you’re the victim, and you know he’s the perpetrator. Then the innocent person being wrongfully convicted angle is no longer in play, so why would you care whether he got a “fair trial” or not?
I agree about the original L&O. The only one I will watch now are L&O Criminal Intent reruns. I like Vincent D’Onofrio‘s acting…
That is always there theme, it is “always’ the white extremist and it doesn’t matter the TV series. Oh yeah, and we have no rights.
I wish my wife would quit watching this crap as well.
Ditto. NBC is circling the drain.
Happened in Sweden a couple of years ago.
