Governor Kevin Stitt (R-OK) said Friday on CNN’s “The Lead” that he agreed with Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) defying the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court that federal agents may remove razor wire at the southern border.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Twenty-five Republican governors from across the country have signed a joint statement supporting the Texas governor as he thumbs his nose at the highest court in the land.”

“John Roberts has made his decision, now let him enforce it.”
glad some of these governors are reading and maybe finally getting around to using their part in the constitution
Articles 9 and 10 coming into play, also the fact if fedgov won’t do its job it falls back onto states and the people. Period.
Excellent point.
I’m enjoying watching people standing up for what’s right and watching the bad people squirm..
SCOTUS doesn’t get to ignore the constitution.
I do not agree with scouts razor wire decision, but if SCOTUS can be legally ignored, then what’s to say Biden or those of his ilk can’t legally ignore them? ignore
Scotus, not scouts.
Gonna be a lot more squirming.
Plus the other side is/was sure ok with ignoring fedgov when it wasn’t what they wanted to do.
The Supreme Court is not a suicide pact.
People who make this statement don't have a clear understanding of the situation then and now. When Andrew Jackson made his statement, he was President. Only he could order the military or any branch of the Federal government to actually implement the decision of SCOTUS. Since the case in question was one that was decided AGAINST Jackson, there was no way he would enforce that decision and no way for SCOTUS to force him to do so.
In this case, do you really think Biden would hesitate to use the FBI, Homeland Security, the military and any other forces at his command to enforce the decision of SCOTUS, since they ruled in his favor?
The Constitution is what matters.
Not SCOTUS precedents.
The Robed Marauders got it wrong several times in the past, and they’ll get it wrong in the future.
The States and The People can correct them when needed
I wouldn’t put it past Maura Healey to join in with bidEn and try to aid the enforcement of SCOTUS in Texas
This is all about revealing the corruption at the feds AND SCOTUS. It has to play out with defiance. Consider the Declaration clause that when government no longer serves the people, it is the people’s duty to replace it and form new government
How rich! SUDDENLY, the Supreme Court is All That And Must Be Obeyed. But when they overturned Roe, o the horror!
Last sentence was mic drop.
Did you have your own comment at #1 removed, or was it done at the request of another?
Any SCOTUS members on those Epstein Island flight logs?
Lincoln had it right when he said “The Constitution is not a suicide pact.”
The original plan for our government was three coequal branches of government would exist. On 1801 John Marshall was able to steal all the power from the other two while feckless politicians watched.
The 10th Amendment showdown is coming and no matter how it rules the USSC will be the big loser.
Plugs already has ignored SCOTUS with the student loan forgiveness mess.
