When the USSC clearly ignores the constitution then they should be ignored likewise. And this is a serous matter affecting the survival of the United States.
I hope the other states have leaders with the stones to do what Abbott has done...but I doubt it.

First shot across the bow. Good on Texas. If the left steals another election, Texas will probably be the first to secede. That’s a confrontation the left can’t win. They prefer guerilla tactics and subversion, not open conflict.
I don't think Abbott is opposed to Trump or a hard follower either but I really just don't know.
No love lost for xiden. I think he may have tried to humiliate Abbott when he tried to make a personal appeal to him.
This sort of move is important because it puts the deep state on notice that if they take out Trump, it will only make things worse for them. Red states are not going to just stand by and let the Feds take them over.
xiden will also probably claim that they are not illegals but instead unadjudicated asylum seekers all tidy and legal. I really don’t know if they just show up at a border crossing station and state their desire for asylum and are released or if they all or most wade in then turn themselves in.
Leaving them on the other side of it (disarmed of course).
