This is a broadcast clip on the 11 worst airports in America according to a Wall Street Journal survey. Here they are from worst to 11st worst:

1. Atlanta
2. Miami
DFW has a Capital One Lounge!
That’s why I love it!
That's almost entirely a function of crowded airspace in the NYC metro region, not an airport operations problem.
I don’t get this list - how is Dulles in DC not on this list? Try getting through customs (1-2 hrs) and how many other airport have busses take you to the terminal?
Wow...they have picked my airports.
I was raised in South Florida and spent tons of time in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and Miami International Airports. Miami sucks. FLL not so bad.
I have flown into Orlando many times and never had a issue.
Now that I live out west I fly in and out of Denver quite a bit. Again, I have no issues with the airport, other than it’s general Illuminati weirdness.
Both Washington DC airports have been difficult in the past. O’Hare has NEVER been a good experience. Newark has been okay, but JFK has been horrific.
The one time I flew into LAX I was verbally assaulted by a homeless dude while waiting for a shuttle. I had to stay where I was and he just kept going on and on about how because I just flew in I must be rich enough to give him some money for food. When I ignored him he started announcing to everyone that I was a cheap f*cker who was a racist f*ck and didn’t care if black people starved. The nearby black security guard was quite amused and did nothing. When the shuttle arrived the driver, seeing the agitated homeless dude, didn’t want to open the doors and was signaling to the security guy to remove the homeless dude. The security guy found something fascinating to look at in the other direction. The shuttle driver looked at me, shrugged and drove off. At that point the homeless dude started laughing. The security guard said “Maybe you should give him something.”
I, instead, pulled out my phone and dialed 911. I told them I was being harassed by a person I believed was mentally ill and in fear for my safety. I gave them my location, and they said they would have a unit there very quickly as one was nearby.
The security guy was not amused. A few seconds later HIS radio goes off advising him of a potentially dangerous person harassing a traveler in the shuttle pick up area and to please advise his location. The homeless dude starts cutting across the traffic trying to get out of Dodge. The security guy says to the dispatcher that he is on the scene and has it under control. I just stand there looking at nothing in particular. About 10 seconds later another shuttle pulls up and I get on, grateful to be leaving the cesspool of LAX.
I was gonna say.....Maybe that would be considered racist?
Atlanta not being on the list is noticeable. This article was written Delta.
Like Santa, over the rooftops . . .
Could be due to DFW being known to lose handicapped passengers escorted by DFW employees.
Recall at least two that were found dead on DFW property and one found dead at the spillway of Grapevine Lake to the north.
JFK was the worst when I used to fly at least once weekly. My luggage never made it to my destination when I did. It was always3-5 days later.
Newark is definitely #1 in my experience.
>>Atlanta not being on the list is noticeable.<<
I noticed that and I AGREE.
Oakland’s easy to get in and out of (other than the baggage claim). SF sucks, but I love the Sacramento Airport. Best airport I’ve flown in and out of? Boise....
Boy do I agree. Hartsfield is the worst!
Oakland is OK. LAX is terrible.
The best airports are the small ones, e.g. Monterey, Reading.
Newark is absolutely horrible. Plus the rental car service is terrible. Last time I was there 10 people were waiting for cars they’d rented in advance to show up at the rental place
I am going to fly into Oakland in February. Thanks for the tip.
One of the coolest airports I have flown into was West Palm Beach FLA. The terminal looks like Las Vegas.
Flew in/out of JFK 15 years ago. Never again. Philly sucks, but only 1/2 as hard as JFK
