Joe Biden headlined a pro-abortion rally today and promised he would sign legislation to kill babies in abortions up to birth if Democrats win complete control of Congress this November.
“Give me a Democratic House of Representatives and give me a bigger, bigger Democratic Senate where we will pass a new law restoring and protecting Roe v Wade, and I will sign it up immediately,” he said.
On the flip side, he promised to veto any bill that limits abortions, even abortions up to birth.
“As long as I have the powers of the presidency know this, if Congress passes a national abortion [ban] bill, I will veto it,” Biden said to cheers.
In Joe Biden’s world, saving babies is “cruel.” Of course, he’s careful to describe it another way – falsely claiming that pregnant women have to leave pro-life states to seek medical care elsewhere even though every single pro-life state in America provides full care for women.
“Today in America, women are being turned away from emergency rooms, forced to travel hundreds of miles to get basic health care, forced to go to court to plead to help to protect themselves and their ability to then have children in the future,” Biden said. “The cruelty is astounding. And it’s a direct affront to a woman’s dignity.”
Over 65.5 million babies have been killed in abortions since the Supreme Court handed down that infamous decision in 1973. However, apparently, that’s not enough abortions for Biden, so he announced plans yesterday to expand both surgical and chemical abortions at a time when states already allow abortions up to birth.
Biden is going to continue his desperate attempt to exploit a federal law, the that guarantees “emergency medical treatment,” and twist it to try to force emergency rooms across the country to do abortions. Never mind that federal courts have already rebuked his attempt to turn ER doctors into abortionists.
Biden stumbled multiple times in the speech, which was interrupted a dozen times by Hamas supporters, and falsely claimed leftist Terry McAuliffe was the governor of Virginia.
“Don’t mess with the woman of America unless you wanna get the benefit!” Biden said at one point, making little sense.
Biden used the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to promote abortion and called the killing of 65.5 million unborn babies since Roe v. Wade “health care.”
Although three is no right to abortion and ending the lives of babies before birth permanently deprives them of liberty and freedom, Biden said, “Fifty-one years ago today, the Supreme Court recognized a woman’s constitutional right to make deeply personal decisions with her doctor—free from the interference of politicians. Then, a year and a half ago, the Court made the extreme decision to overturn Roe and take away a constitutional right.”
“As a result, tens of millions of women now live in states with extreme and dangerous abortion bans. Because of Republican elected officials, women’s health and lives are at risk. In states across the country, women are being turned away from emergency rooms, forced to go to court to seek permission for the medical attention they need, and made to travel hundreds of miles for health care,” he added.
This of course is totally false, as every single pro-life law in America fully allows pregnant women to get medical care — including for ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages.
Biden continued: “On this day and every day, Vice President Harris and I are fighting to protect women’s reproductive freedom against Republican officials’ dangerous, extreme, and out-of-touch agenda. We stand with the vast majority of Americans who support a woman’s right to choose, and continue to call on Congress to restore the protections of Roe in federal law once and for all.”
Ingrid Skop, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., a board-certified OB-GYN who serves as vice president and director of medical affairs at Charlotte Lozier Institute, told LifeNewsearlier this year that no pro-life laws preent pregnant women from accessing medical care.
“The overwhelming majority of OB-GYNs recognize both mother and baby as our patients and so does federal law,” she said.
And other doctors confirm aboriton is not health care.
“Abortion is not healthcare,” said CMDA Senior Vice President of Bioethics and Public Policy Jeffrey Barrows, DO, MA (Ethics), who is an OB/Gyn. “Healthcare professionals are focused on trying to save their patients—not on trying to end the lives of the unborn.”
Meanwhile, a new national poll conducted by Marist University finds that two-thirds of Americans support pro-life laws that place limits on abortions.
The 2024 Knights of Columbus-Marist Poll results reveal that 66% of Americans support placing legal limits on abortion, and that nearly 6 in 10 support limiting abortions to the first three months of pregnancy.
This survey, conducted by the Marist Poll also found that 83% of Americans support pregnancy resource centers, which offer support to mothers both during their pregnancy and after their baby is born.
Additionally, the poll found that two-thirds of Americans believe healthcare professionals with religious objections to abortions should not be legally required to perform them, while 86% of respondents believe that laws can protect both the mother and her unborn child.

We adopted a baby girl when she was 2 weeks old. We already had 4 sons and wanted a girl. She is an adult now.. And abhors the killing of babies.. Every one is a life worth living, with no chance.. Their mothers kill their own flesh. How can they..
How do they define birth?
My understanding is they want to be able to examine the baby, then make a determination whether to abort or not. May be up to 24 hours.
Why stop at birth? Why not kill babies after birth if they’re defective or unwanted? Why not toddlers? Teens? What difference does it even make at this point?

even most (not all, but most) of the “pro-abortion” voters only want it for one or more of the following limited situations,
1. to save the mother’s life
2. where the child has severe medical disabilities
3. for cases of rape or incest
4. for the first maybe 3 months only
there are relatively few people who really want widespread abortions on demand for the full 9 months and without any real reasons
Biden either misreads the voters or else really wants to lose and get the hell out of WashDC with all his payola, while he can still enjoy it
SCOTUS has already ruled this is not a federal issue. So whether it’s any conservative president saying they’ll sign for a complete ban, or what diapers is saying now, they’d both be unconstitutional.

Unfortunately, this point is lost on stupid voters; that is, most voters.
No legal authority: it it’s not a right, Congress has no authority. Same with banning abortion nationally: SCOTUS didn’t find a right to life.
