President Joe Biden has just a single-digit advantage over former President Donald Trump in blue New York, according to a Siena College poll released Monday, which comes after the 45th president told Breitbart News he plans to broaden the 2024 electoral battleground map to include the Empire State.
The poll found that Biden leads Trump 46 percent to 37 percent in a hypothetical head-to-head general election race. Trump has surged substantially since June’s Siena College poll, when he was 22 points behind Biden at 28 percent and 50 percent, respectively. By August, Biden’s support dropped to 47 percent while Trump’s climbed to 34 percent. All in all, Trump has enjoyed a 13-point swing his way in seven months in a state Biden won by 23 points in 2020, per the poll.

For what its worth- earlier today i talked to a “friend” from NYC who hates Trump- talks about him in the worst terms. White, Jewish guy who lives on the upper east side.
I was giving him a lot of crap about the present situation in the craphole known as NY- his response- “don’t worry, Trump is going to win the election.” I thought he was being sarcastic yet he was 100% serious and i’d say damn near hopeful.
So they hate seeing no border as well?

Yes, Biden is unpopular in NY, his open border and immigrant issue, and the fact there are 3rd party folks, and some of them popular will hurt Biden in November.
I do believe that the democrats are going to have to play defense, and spend resources in places that should be safe for them, but even with the most OPTIMISTIC math, NY going for Trump this fall is beyond a stretch.. Yes, has zero chance of winning it with the same lead as 2020, but that’s honestly true just about everywhere... but to actually win NY State? Going to have to see the wall street bankers actually have to take it in the pants if you want that to happen... and while average joe is struggling under Biden, the upper class are feasting as usual. So I don’t see a path for a Biden loss in NY... if wall street truly truly suffers this year, maybe, but just the fact little folks are struggling, won’t be enough to win NYS.

I, unfortunately, live in one of thee worst blue bastions of Maryland. My favorite POTUS might as well fly over my state in Trump Force One—and in AF1 this time a year from now!!!
