A study by the Center for Justice Research (CJR) shows violent crime in Ohio decreased after the state adopted constitutional carry.
Constitutional carry recognizes the Second Amendment as a carry permit, allowing law-abiding citizens to carry a concealed handgun for self-defense without first acquiring a permit from their state government.
There are 27 constitutional carry states and those are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

I’ll bet that it sees a significant drop in crime- but the left will bend th3mselves into pretzels to proclaim that cc had nothing to do,with it
Yes, shocked face!
Gun crime is pretty much correlated to the number of negroes in a specific area.
just scan through this page and you’ll see who the perps and victims are for the most part.
He deserves one.
No matter how many times this happens, the gun-grabbing organizations, rat politicians, and of course the gaslight media will continue to claim otherwise and threaten other states considering such recognition of defensive rights with threats of “blood in the streets” if they were to enact such measures. Facts don’t matter to them, narrative does, and the narrative is that guns are bad, m’kay.
Of course, it’s not spreading misinformation when they do it.
Its a lot more polite in GA since we got CC.
You mean these people were wrong (again): https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/05/us/permitless-carry-laws-advance-in-states/index.html I’m shocked, just SHOCKED, I tell you. /heavy sarc
And while I don’t think we’ll ever see a state like NY goes this far down that road, its ridiculous gun laws are dropping one by one.
My closest friend now owns 4 guns. A guy I would have never, in a million years, ever thought would own one. Took his CCW class and is waiting on his license.
Interestingly, he was in a class of around 15 or so. It was after 07Oct and the class was primarily Jewish folks. Other than the Hassidic diamond dealers in NYC, not a demographic of folks that one would associate with gun ownership.
I’m thinking a GoFundMe account set up...money goes to the charity of choice to the winner
Debate...John Locke vs Hogg, AOC, Sanders, and any other 2 people they want to put up.
One caveat....each person has one of those chest rigs that deliver a taser-like shock, that they make certain criminal defendants where in court, so if the insane Leftists constantly interrupt(as they will do) or otherwise get out of line, they can be shocked to shut them up.
Sadly, the only reason the bill was signed was because Kemp has a primary opponent who supported it.
Concealed carry is legal in Chicago.

Thanks ... did not know that.
An armed society is a polite society.
It also showed that of all the murders committed in that year (can't recall which one) just over half were committed by blacks.
Gun free zones only apply to law abiding citizens.
My pleasure.

I’m glad to see Kansas on that list. We’re a free state, you don’t even need a concealed carry permit here, although I have one. My sons don’t, and they carry concealed anyway. I remember when the concealed carry act passed in Kansas. Our governor at the time was about the most pro-abortion, anti-gun liberal I’ve ever seen, Kathleen Sebelius. She signed the bill because her veto was going to be overturned in both houses by a wide margin. I wonder how tight her sphincter was when she signed that bill.
“Another State Sees Crime Drop After Constitutional Carry Takes Effect”
“Since the legalization of constitutional carry in July 2023, Florida’s biggest cities saw a significant decrease in violent crimes, including shootings. In Jacksonville, murders and homicides dropped 6 percent in 2023 from the previous year.
The real record-breaking reduction in homicides was recorded in Miami. In 2022, the municipality recorded 49 homicides. By 2023, that number was down to 31, the fewest number of killings ever recorded in the Magic City. Miami also reported a 34 percent drop, from 151 to 100, in non-fatal shootings and 124 fewer “non-contact” shootings than in 2022. The change mirrors a national trend in less violent crime in 2023.
Florida’s constitutional carry law may not be the sole reason for those numbers, but this is the exact opposite of what Democrats claimed would happen after the law passed. Indeed, it’s fair to suspect respecting citizens’ constitutional right to self-defense played a role in the crime decline. Good guys with guns can deter, prevent, and even stop crime. The legal use of firearms helps thwart an estimated 2.5 million crimes a year.”
