A few years back I saw an Excel file from the official FBI website giving a statistical breakdown of murder in the US. These stats showed that cross racial murder is very unusual in this country. Specifically it showed that blacks killing whites was rare and that whites killing blacks is almost unknown.

It also showed that of all the murders committed in that year (can't recall which one) just over half were committed by blacks.
