A New York Times columnist has called for embattled Harvard University president Claudine Gay’s ouster amid accusations of plagiarism, writing that the situation has reached “a tipping point.”
John McWhorter, a linguist professor at Columbia University, wrote an opinion piece for the New York Times on Thursday in which he said Gay should resign if the Ivy League school declines to dismiss her from her post.
Gay allegedly quoted or paraphrased authors more than 40 times without proper attribution in her academic works — which breaks the school’s strict rules on plagiarism. “Harvard has a clear policy on plagiarism that threatens undergraduates with punishment up to the university’s equivalent of expulsion for just a single instance of it,” McWhorter wrote.

I think a certain NY Times columnist is about to get a big, fat middle-finger.
Does Harvard obey its own rules or not??
Plagiarism is the problem with the NYT person but her acceptance of death of a group by genocide under the right context circumstances is okay?
Values are screwed up.
They can’t be too hard on him, McWhorter is black.
If Trump is serious about making America and its institutions great again, would love to see Trump just take a stroll through the Harvard yard when it is crowded with students. No doubt some would be hostile but suspect the majority are fed up with the hypocritical, leftist straightjacket on thought and speech. He would probably be cheered and embraced by most. Imagine the shudder and fear that the horrible people who control and run Harvard would experience. It would be a seminal political event.
McWhorter needs to stay off paddle boards (Obama privately lobbied on Harvard President Claudine Gay’s behalf as she faces growing scrutiny)
Columnists don’t matter.
If it was the NYT Editorial page, it would matter.
and the RATS take another one in the.........HA ha!!!
Gay black thief.
She was legitimate in their eyes until she wasn't anymore.
Best for her to stay politically speaking. Keep cancers like her and boston’s bitchface mayor in the spotlight. It helps. Same as seeing pro-hamas rallies. Energizes our side. Or just fire her ass lol.
Harvard here hold my Bud Light and watch this.
Do the Right Thing is a movie that Ms. Gay watched once... It’s not something that’s she’s likely ever going to do.
Being antisemitic is typically enough of an embarrassment in itself for most CEO’s and those in leadership rolls to resign from, but with Ms. Gay they needed to remind her that knowing how to write a dissertation is kind of ‘part of the job’ of being a University President that they overlooked in her unique case because of affirmative action. Now they aren’t overlooking it anymore, but that still won’t be enough to rid them of her... They will sadly need to fire her to wipe this sh*tstain of incompetence from their record.
Another DEI replacement is in the wings, watch. We would have never known and she would still be in position until the light shined brightly after Oct 7th
Harvard’s rule on plagarism is a standard, and only White men are expected to meet standards.
Food for thought overheard at the Palestinian student anti colonizer rally at Harvard: “If colonizer nation, Great Satan United States, invades and subjugates a wealthy Middle East oil producing nation like Kuwait to become its colony, does that mean when colonizer, Little Satan Israel, invades and subjugates Middle East shithole Gaza, it becomes Israel’s colon?”
I think the gal is deeply entrenched, and connected and this won’t happen. The color tone of her epidermis is a TRUMP card in this game. She gets out of jail free, passes GO and collects $200 dollars using the ‘racist’ card.
“...Obama privately lobbied on Harvard President Claudine Gay...”
Notice the word “privately”. She is another one of Obama’s Deep State puppets. There are thousands of them all over government institutions and academia. Along with Valery Jarret’s Iranian spies, these are the primary subversives working to turn America into a Marxist hell hole.
