Done! Everything is set. Santa has been here and gone. Hubby bought me a mixer and I used it all day today. Breads made, linzertorte made, cheese ball made, breakfast for tomorrow made, and presents wrapped. I decorated today. We don’t decorate too much as it is just the two of us. I took to breakfast breads over to a friend of mine, a family of 10. The mom she wasn’t really looking forward to getting that meal all ready. So, ...hubby was slightly concerned when I told him we’ll have guests around 2.

Yes, Merry Christmas to All! Company at 2 in the afternoon. Everything set and I’ll just do a wee bit of prep around 8 in the morning and then just set things out when the company comes.
It is 10 pm now and my bedtime. Pain meds are kicking in so I should be asleep in a trice.

Sorry your back is hurting. It’s hard when you miss out on things you enjoy due to pain. I think back pain is some of the worst.
My niece (age50) a life long resident of NE Ohio moved to Allen in June. Three adult children n grands all moved also. Hot baptism for them. They were tired of winters . Youngest son just graduated from HS n timing was right.
