“Looks like the police may be corrupt.”
They absolutely are. Or I should say I’m not surprised at all. The Johnson City DA and local paper are bought and paid for. Some BLMers crossed state lines to riot here (a felony). They blocked traffic - no consequences for them. But a local man trying to get his kids to school was arrested for driving through them. The paper published his name and address. I know of at least one letter to the editor giving the facts was ignored (mine). The only ones printed were lefties.
It’s a small city and is corrupt up to its eyeballs. The inbred people here in the country drive me nuts on so many issues - but I don’t think they can be bought for any price. So here I stay, waiting to see what will happen.
I think when the violence starts, people will be shocked how the powers that be everywhere let the illegals loose to create Mayhem and jail the locals.

That is so so awful. Such a beautiful state. I’m starting to think that it’s like this everywhere. I’m thinking that any law-abiding jurisdictions anywhere may be the exception.
I guess there’s something to be said about inbreeding after all. Sounds like you’re located in the best spot you can be if they’re good people at heart.

So I’m confused this morning. I have to do some research, but I was reading about the German farmers and their protests, which made me wonder about The Netherlands. I was under the impression that Rutte guy (WEF) was ousted by Geerts Wilder....but I see he’s still in power. So what was this big win by Geerts, and what difference does it make if Rutte is still calling the shots? So frustrating, as I thought the Dutch farmers would be ok now.

Many, many, years ago I took a class (can’t remember what it was called) but polls were brought up. They said polls are worthless as the answer you get is based on HOW the question was asked.

I have heard that....but just look at the ridiculous polls of 2016. Trump had a 7% chance? To her 93%. I guess it’s possible that everyone they asked thought she was a sure thing, so they just answered that way. Seems pretty strange.
