Democrat Pollster: Biden 'Losing Ground Every Month'
Newsmax ^ | December 19, 2023 | Charlie McCarthy

President Joe Biden is "losing ground every month" in the national polls mostly due to inflation, a Democrat pollster told CNN.

Stanley Greenberg, appearing Monday on CNN's "Inside Politics," said Biden's team should focus on halting his continuing falling job approval numbers by telling voters how he plans to deal with rising prices.

"When your approval with your base is lower than ... your opponent, you know … you need a new start," Greenberg said. "What matters [to voters] is how many months people have been struggling to deal with inflation, and each month they get madder and madder about it as long as their wages are trailing prices."

“...how he plans to deal with rising prices.”

1. Prices are always a one-way ratchet. They are NOT going back down.
2. They cannot UNPRINT the $10 trillion of liquidity they printed.

The only thing that breaks the back of inflation is a recession. Nothing else.

There is NO PLAN and there can be no other plan than to send the economy into a tailspin for a year. But people won’t like the fact that prices are not reverting to where they were when Trump was in office.

Us retirees are really forked.

They way things are going it won’t matter. Biden will be the only name on the ballot.
Democrats are crowing this morning that removing people from the ballot strengthens “democracy”.

If Trump is the nominee, he will lose. Electoral College is not favorable.

This isn’t as easy as some here might think. Democrats are going to scare people saying Republicans will take away their abortion, birth control and free tranny surgery.

That is the most important thing for at least a quarter of all voters.

Many more simply won’t vote for Republicans because they think the GOP is racist, misogynistic, bigoted and homophobic.

It doesn’t matter if we are facing economic oblivion.

They know Trump is going to win, so they will sabotage everything to make it look like it is Trumps fault. These people do not give two shits about the American people.

The bad news is . . . it is a substance created from nothingness.

When you ask people where does money come from, they will tell you their paycheck. When you find people who think deeply about it and realize Quantitative Ease is money created from nothing and loaned to the US government, but a US government entity, they generally just stop thinking about it and wave a hand and presume they must not understand something because that can’t be true.

But it is true. They do understand. We use money because the System is structured that way and we have to eat, and the System does not want you saying to yourself, “well, I have to use this to eat, but it was created from nothing and its value is determined by the imagination of counterparties”.

But that’s what it all is. $34 Trillion, and things do not fall apart because neither counterparty can endure such an outcome.

this is not a typical election with an incumbent and a challenger.

BOTH of these guys are incumbents

Everyone already knows what to expect from each, and have already made up their minds. It is also my firm belief that no one that switches to supporting Trump ever stops. Because you have to defend the switch to everyone, and that digs you in deeper and firms up your own support when you have to articulate WHY you support Trump.

“The only thing that breaks the back of inflation is a recession.”

I agree but view it as the consequences of excessive borrowing by the Federal government’s, which is able to borrow without providing collateral.

By this trickery the government has provided the money for unproductive spending while avoiding the unpopular raising of taxes.

Too bad for us ordinary guys and gals that high finance is so complicated.

The Electoral College is more favorable than in 2016. The 2020 census moved House seats and thus Electoral Votes. They moved south.

Texas gained 2 EVs. California lost 1. Colorado gained 1. Florida gained 1. IL lost 1. Michigan lost 1. Montana gained 1. North Carolina gained 1. New York lost 1. Ohio lost 1. Oregon gained 1. Pennsylvania lost 1.

Trump +4, Dems -3.

I wish all you people would stop with “Biden this, Biden that” stories. If you read the regime media, it’s obvious they’ve been moving him out for the last twelve months.

He is not going to be the nominee, and every ounce of effort spent on defeating him is wasted, while the Newsom/Whitmer ticket escapes even decent opposition research.

When Biden finally quits (or dies), all you guys will claim victory, and like the aftermath of any big win, will let your guard down while Newsom rolls in.

For heaven’s sake! Biden???

C’mon, man!

The Surrender Monkeys here are getting so predictable that reading their sour comments brings to mind the picture of that Trump Derangement Syndrome victim screaming “Noooooo!”
Patriots who intend to fight like they are the third Monkey on Noah’s Ark for our freedom should merely step around them as they whine.
