B&E in the early morning hours should be cause enough to fear for your life.
That was one way to learn a lesson.
Hope the homeowner is okay.
The black single mom is delusional.
The homeowner should have verified the age of the perp before shooting the prowler.
Lol.
Lady, your son’s dreams were to break into peoples’ homes and steal.
At least he got to try that, before he died.
A lot of people don’t do what they dream of doing.
Her son won’t do that again.
That mom should do a better job raising any other children she may have.
He was illegally breaking into a home and got shot... a consequence of his illegal activities... he was one of the group that was trying to break into an elderly woman’s house... she shot one of them which happened to be your son... so what exactly don’t you get there Latoiya? 🤔
“Mother devastated after homeowner shoots, kills Rosemont 8th grader”
No bias in that headline. This entire article is written to make the criminal and his mother, the victims.
Yeah yeah - she lured your son to her house in the wee hours of the morning when he should’ve been in bed with promises of rap star godhood and she shot him to crouch his dreams.
Shame on CBS for using their privilege to profit on this mothers pain.
His Father never told him that this type of behavior is just plain wrong and could get you killed?? Oh never mind...
“My son had a lot of dreams and he was so talented,”

There should be mandatory teaching in schools (esp minority communities) the dangers of drugs, gangs and committing criminal acts. Won’t ever happen because of being labeled ‘racist’ therefore they let the little menaces pursue their destructive ways and give them cover with excuses from blinded minds. Pathetic culture we’ve become.
“My son is not a criminal.”
Technically true, for he WAS a criminal, now deceased because of his choices.
If he jumped off a bridge thinking that he was SpiderMan , would that make the mother feel better? Just a different bad choice.
She misses the point where the dead son would not be shot by anyone had he not been there, perhaps twice.
What was he doing on property that wasn't his? Why was he anywhere near this home of a woman living alone? I suppose he may have been stopping by to ask for a donation to the local Boy's & Girls Club of America chapter.
Where are the rest of his donation seekers?
"I feel like they need to dig deeper," said Landers.
Don't look for it, Latoiya...
“My son had a lot of dreams and he was so talented,”
He had an odd way of showing it.
Well at least the boi died doing what he loved! B&E! It’s just a joyful story with a tinge of sadness. Sadness cause some of the little basturds apparently got away.
