Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) said Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Your World” that former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) is going to be the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nominee
Sununu said, “It’s the connection she has with voters. When she’s in New Hampshire, and she’s doing the town halls and all that, she’s not just telling you where she is. She does that. But she’s allowing folks to ask questions. She’s earning trust. And that’s why her numbers were soaring before I even got involved because folks are galvanizing around that. And then you have the international experience, which none of them have. What she did on the U.N., understanding that these international issues are more important today than ever before, and having that type of expertise. And frankly, it’s a little bit of the ‘live free or die’ thing, right? We want someone who truly believes in not big government solutions, and there’s a little bit of that with the other two.”

You are ill educated. SCOTUS has already ruled on this
Try some other approach. This just shows your ignorance
Too bad the meaning escapes you.
You know. I think you are onto something.
Mitt-Romney-in-a-skirt, the Assistant Democrat, is not going to be the nominee. The amount of electoral fraud it would take to get her over the threshold is staggering to contemplate.
Sununu obviously believes (and I agree) that the RNC is determined that under no circumstances will they give their nomination (and it's theirs to give) to Donald Trump.
Whether they've gone as far as knowing or fixing the outcome of the court cases, I have no idea - but they are determined that Trump isn't getting their nomination, and I believe them.
The only way Trump will ever be President again is if he turns the table over and takes what he believes is rightfully his by force.
He has no path to power through the existing US political system.
And why Haley, of all people? The "donors" love her. On their main issue, she's a dream girl.
The meaning of flags with gold fringe or the meaning of idiots opining on the interweb about Constitutional issues that they know nothing about?
For almost 100 years now, the Constitution has said whatever five out of nine Supreme Court Justices want it to say. I sure as hell don't like being ruled over by an oligarchy of unelected judges with lifetime appointments, but it is what it is.
It could be worse though. We could be governed by idiots opining on the interweb.
Vivek doesn't bring him any new votes.
There's three factions in the GOP right now:
1.) Trumpers (to include Ramaswamy who is basically an avatar for Trump at the debates).
2.) Former Trumpers. These are us DeSantis supporters.
3.) Never Trumpers. Nikki Haley and the rest.
If Trump eanrs the nomination, he'll of course bring his supporters and Vivek's as well (who really are Trump supporters). The vast majority of Former Trumpers will begrudgingly come along. It'll be the Never Trumpers that he's going to have to close the deal with. Understanding this, Haley as VP makes perfect sense.
Notice, Trump has refrained from asking Haley to drop out of the race even as she's moved ahead of DeSantis in several polls.
I would vote for a steaming pile of dog poo before I would vote for Biden.
It is all academic though. At this point I don't see any possibility that someone other than Trump will get the nomination. None of the half dozen or so that are left in the race have any chance whatsoever. They aren't even in the running for VP.
Vivek Ramaswamy is running for a cabinet seat. President Trump could make him Secretary of Commerce or give him some other innocuous cabinet seat. The rest are auditioning for talking head jobs on ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/MSNBC.
I think Tim Scott is a more likely pick than Haley for VP.
If DeSantis had been smart and endorsed Trump instead of running, then he would be on the short list for VP. Now he will have to run against Trump’s VP in four years.
Nimrata Haley was born to two parents who were citizens of a foreign country at the time of her birth and did not owe any allegiance to the United States, making her first and foremost a citizen of India.
Why would he pick another backstabber? She’d backstab him worse than Pence. While she’d be a GOPE / Never Trump dream come true Trump is not going to make that mistake twice.
He doesn’t need anyone to GET him vote to win for the election just not anyone who’s going mot going to hurt him. I don’t think anyone running now is on his list.
Same here.
Let it burn.
No. SCOTUS has already ruled on what constitutes a NBC. She qualifies. It was not a political case. It was a young teen who asked SCOTUS ruled if one is born oin the US they are a natural born citizen. Do some research
Exactly. So what is your beef with me? Birthright citizenship is just excepted practice, the Constitution does not grant that right, judges and bureaucrats have instituted it and legalists stand by waiting for the Supremes to tell them what it really means. English isn't confusing unless lawyers and judges make it so. You know like Scalia decided that "shall make no law" really means that reasonable laws were ok. Maybe even that Fiat money is really gold.
Trump/Haley? An interesting idea that might work. I think Haley is a nutcase but she checks those boxes. And outsmarts KamaLALALA by thousands of points.
