Hamas threatens to kill all remaining hostages if demands are not met

Hamas on Sunday threatened to kill all of its remaining hostages if demands such as more aid for Gaza and prisoner exchanges were not met, after suffering repeated losses in its battle with Israel.

The Palestinian terror group is still holding the bodies of 20 hostages who died in captivity, Israel said over the weekend.

Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas’ armed wing, claimed Sunday that not another single kidnap victim will leave Gaza alive unless Israel agrees to all its demands in negotiations that broke down at the start of December. At least some of those demands have been for more aid for Gaza residents and the freeing of Palestinian prisoners.

“Neither the fascist enemy and its arrogant leadership… nor its supporters… can take their prisoners alive without an exchange and negotiation and meeting the demands of the resistance,” Obeida said in a televised broadcast.

The ultimatum came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that of the 137 hostages believed to still be in Hamas custody, 20 are dead.

Yeah. A tapir or a snake 'dies in captivity;' a human being who was violently attacked, kidnapped, possibly tortured or raped, then dies of their injuries was, as you say, MURDERED. (Assuming they weren't simply executed, in which case, they were still MURDERED!)

Funny, isn't it, the media's diction when it comes to such things:

Israeli casualties are mentioned as "xxxx Israelis have died," while Palestinian casualties are mentioned as "xxxx Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, most of them women and children, according to [insert Hamas-controlled org here]"

Those darn Israelis, just *coincidentally* dropping dead when Hamas attacks. Heart attacks? Strokes? Drownings?

Hostages are the only bargaining chip that Hamas has left.
Once the hostages are released, there will be no reason for IDF to hold back.

Even though we are “civilized” we need to remember that there is nothing civilized in war. The only way to win is to kill everyone. Since Vietnam, we have decided that “civilized” and “limited” warfare will produce a victory and it never has, never will.

They are cynically trying to divide the Israeli public. I only hope that the families of the hostages understand that Hamas would be only too happy for every last Jewish person to be dead in the most humiliating fashion possible. Israel needs to present a united front.
