In a Monday court order, Judge Tanya Chutkan of the US District Court for the District of Columbia denied a motion from Donald Trump’s team to subpoena records they said were missing from the archived records of the January 6 Select Committee. These are records that were reportedly not turned over after the investigation was complete.
Trump’s team, in an October 11 filing, requested permission to issue subpoenas to the Archivist of the United States at the National Archives and Records Administration, the Clerk of the House of Representatives, the Committee on House Administration, Special Counsel to the President Richard Sauber, General Counsel of the Department of Homeland Security Johnathan Meyer, Representative Barry Loudermilk, and Representative Bennie Thompson.
"According to a letter from Representative Barry Loudermilk, Chair of the Subcommittee on Oversight, however, the Select Committee did not transfer or archive numerous records (collectively the 'Missing Records')," the October filing states.
The October filing cites video recordings of transcribed interviews and depositions that had been featured in the Select Committee’s hearings that were not archived or transferred to the Committee on House Administration.
In her Monday filing, Chutkan wrote that "The subpoenas would require federal government officials to produce records related to the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol."

This type of partisan behavior should create a basis for mistrial or basis for appeal at the least.

As many have stated here on FR, this biased leftwing “judge” will not allow Trump to present a defense. The outcome of this trial is a foregone conclusion.
This judge soils his own credibility everyday. “Fishing expedition” the judge called it.... meanwhile.... 40000 hours of video prove the capitol/metro police instigated the entire riot. The J6 committee should be on trial for conspiracy to commit treason. Is no fishing expedition at this point.... every single item the J6 has should be made public. You can hide things but it not as easy to just destroy it.

Yup. I think almost anyone following these cases knows Trump’s best chance at winning is on appeals. This decision reinforces that fact.
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
Yes, I thought ALL exculpatory evidence was required to be provided to the defense.

That doesn’t matter. The goal is to have a conviction before the election. What happens after that is of no concern to the true fascists.

Sure, but that's the point.
First, the process is the punishment.
Second, the communists want to drag the whole sordid mess out through the election. That way, they can constantly crow about the "convicted, disgraced Donald Trump". This isn't about justice (we all know that) it's about conquest.
Exactly! Its clear that the “judge” is thwarting the defense’s efforts to show exculpatory evidence. This is patently partisan and begs what should be a slam dunk appeal.
Imagine if a judge was blocking a Dem politician from trying to produce exculpatory evidence that was held by the government. It would never happen.
Little wonder that so much of the country has lost faith in our judicial system.
A wholly new J6 committee must be formed to subpoena Pelosi..... and her daughter ......who was videoing events, apparently privy to the facts of the Dem’s J6 conspiracy.
The daughter was videotaping Pelosi to get her mother’s biased take on the events in order to display them to Cheney’s original J6 committee.
As we saw w/ Trump, the new thing is to rake the children over the coals.
Video footage, recorded by Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra, a documentary filmmaker, showed Pelosi and Schumer on the scene, dithering about what to do.
The video was shown during the J6 committee’s 10th hearing as an alleged illustration of President Trump’s supposed “inaction” WRT the peaceful protesters and the cowardly Dem lawmakers who were hiding.
We demand a new J6 committee subpoenaing Pelosi, her daughter, Pelosi’s staff, Capitol
Police leadership, Ray Epps, Chris Wray..........and dozens of others.
