This type of partisan behavior should create a basis for mistrial or basis for appeal at the least.

Yes, I thought ALL exculpatory evidence was required to be provided to the defense.

Exactly! Its clear that the “judge” is thwarting the defense’s efforts to show exculpatory evidence. This is patently partisan and begs what should be a slam dunk appeal.

Imagine if a judge was blocking a Dem politician from trying to produce exculpatory evidence that was held by the government. It would never happen.

Little wonder that so much of the country has lost faith in our judicial system.

Both of you are correct about mistrials, etc.

But that would either take a higher court removing Chutkan, right now…..not gonna happen.

Or the trial plays out, which will take lots of time. Running out the clock.
